(Lena's POV).
"You mean I can play hockey? You really let me join?"
I couldn't hide my excitement when Kai finally let me join to play hockey.
This was a chance I had because I had wanted to try this game for so long.
Kai nodded. "Before I change my mind. Let's see what you got."
I nodded my head and started to put on my special hockey clothes. I also put on pads for my elbows and knees to protect against strikes.
My heart was pounding when the game hadn't even started yet.
Once everything was ready, Kai approached me and suddenly he put a helmet on my head.
"This is something you can't forget, or you'll get injured," he said, but the look in his eyes was one of concern.
The wolf in me rebelled suddenly. Not because I didn't like it, but because I felt a thrill just being noticed
