(Kai's POV).  The bar was alive with chatter and clinking glasses. People crowded together, some still riding the high of the competition, others leaning in close as if planning their next move. Music played loudly in the background, filling the space with a thumping rhythm that made it impossible to ignore the pulse of the crowd. I was leaning back in a corner booth with Adrian, Lena, and Lucas. Drinks in hand, laughter in the air, but there was an odd tension I couldn’t shake.
