(Adrian’s POV).
I rushed out of the library after confirming everything. The scent I smelled when I was with Lena, and the kiss I just had really showed that Lena was my mate.
But how could that be? How could she be my mate when at the same time I knew that Lena was Lucas' mate.
I could still feel the warmth of that kiss even though I was far away from her. The scent of my body also still smells of Lena even though we only kissed.
But I still haven't found an answer considering I'm still trying to deny it. I thought the scent I smelled would gradually disappear, but Lena even asked me if I smelled something.
It was possible that Lena felt the same way but she was too innocent to know, I guess she didn't even know how the mate bond worked.
