(Lena’s POV). The tension in the room was suffocating. They were waiting for my answer but none of the words came out of my lips. I just couldn't choose one of them. Not yet. Not now. This was too quick for me because I didn't know that they would be my mate at the beginning. I did feel something with the three of them, however. I could feel it—like the air itself had thickened, pressing down on my skin, stealing the breath from my lungs. My body already ached from everything I had gone through, and now this? My head was pounding, and the room, once quiet, now felt like a battlefield brimming with unspoken accusations and brewing tempers. I watched the door swing open, and Adrian walked in with that usual sharp stride of his, eyes trained on me like I was the only one that mattere
