“The other day you made out with Adrian, today, I caught you with Lucas and before that, it was me. Who do you think you are that you can string three Alphas along?” Kai’s voice cracked through the silence like a whip.
My heart stuttered. I stood frozen in place, every breath shallow.
I looked at Kai—his eyes blazing, his fists clenched, his chest heaving.
He was furious. But beyond that fury, I saw something deeper… betrayal?
