Fifteen – Heroic Inspector AbberlineAt 10:00 am, the morning of the murder, the police surgeon conducted his post-mortem of the Buck's Row Queen. Among his findings, to be reported to the Coroner's Inquest: The victim was missing five teeth (not my doing, blame her slag lifestyle). She had a laceration on her tongue, a bruise on her lower right jaw, and a circular bruise to left side of her face, possibly from thumb and finger pressure (those were mine). She had a four inch incision on the left side of the neck, one inch below the jaw under the left ear. A second throat incision blah, blah, blah… ran eight inches in a circle around the throat, blah, blah… severing all tissues down to the spine, including the large vessels of the neck on both sides. No blood was found on the breast of cloth
