Goddess i feel like it's already been a long day, i feel drained, Gabby is going crazy for some reason, when i got up to my room with Carrie, i felt like someone has been up in my room, i started checking everything, i checked my clothes and then the bathroom, i made sure nothing was hidden, then i smelled it, a scent or a hint of a scent that someone was trying to hide but tried to cover it up with a spray, shaking my head, that s**t don't work on me, i am immune to it, but it was very strong and very mouth watering, it smelled of coffee beans and blueberry muffins, with a hint of the woods, who ever it was, it was my mate that was trying to cover up, they didn't even know i knew, alright, i will play this game, i'll pretend i don’t know, maybe there scared, but i wont love them because of the mate bond, i want to fall in love without it, i want them to love me for me, Gabby was itching to get out to run, i promised her after the ceremony, i would let her out to go for a run, it would be nice to run with the pack, thats what Carrie said, when we have a gathering like this, everyone shifts to run, I was excited about it, i couldnt wait to run with the pack, and i couldnt wait to see who is trying to hide there scent from me, i have a feeling its the alpha, and he was nervous, that he doesnt want to scare me, ill play his game, I would like to see him and look into his eyes, i want to see if any other females have been with him, i can't really say anything he didn't know me than, but he will now, so if he continues to be with other girls then he doesn't need to be with me, ill need to ask him about training, i would like to do that as well,

“Come on girl, get your shower and get dressed, they are out there waiting for us,” that put me on high gear, i hurried to shower, than i dried off, brushed my hair, letting my hair hang over my shoulders, i dressed in cute sundress that had little sunflowers on it, than i slipped on my sandals, when i was finally done getting ready. we hurried outside, i was nervous and a little bit scared, i wasn't used to everyone wanting me around, i wondered how they would react to me, i was hiding in my room. The only time when I come out is when I hurry to get something to eat or go to work. i was nervous about meeting people so i stayed out of their way, i didn't want them even to talk to me, i was scared they were going to bad mouth me or hit me, but i never gave them a chance to know who i was, Now they will know me, and that's what i scared about, they might not like an omega here in their pack, well here we go, we walked outside toward the makeshift stage, well it wasn’t a stage, stage, it was a large cut out log big enough to move around each other, or move from each other, i started smelling the the coffee bean blueberry muffin scent, and i swear my mouth started to water, i could also tell they were using the spray, alright, it was time to play the game,

“Gabby girl, keep calm, we will play their game okay, don’t be scared because i can feel how nervous he is, so let's just get up there do the ceremony, and then run with the pack,”

“If you can do this, So can i, let's do this, but remember to stay strong and hold your head up, don't hold your head down this is a new pack, they might not be like the old one, just be kind,”

“I will Gabby i promise,” We headed toward the small stage, my heart started to beat faster, i knew i had to calm my heart down so no one could tell i was nervous or scared, Carrie took me to the stage, i was looking around hoping no one would be looking mean, I smiled at a few people, they would smile back, i was thinking they were only smiling because the alpha was here, they would show their true colors once he's not around, it will just take some time, but they will always show their true colors, I walked on the stage careful not to touch him. but i knew we would have to. This would be the hardest part. I slightly jumped when he started talking, and a few in the crowd chuckled softly,

“Yes I promise to everything alpha,” I couldn't help but see what a sexy smile he had. damn i had to stop thinking about that, i had to pay attention to what he was saying, he nodded looking at me like he was looking into my eyes, i feel that he was trying to see what i was thinking about, i had to block my mind from him, i only wanted him to know what i wanted him to know, so i cleared my mind then looked out to the crowd, he pulled out a dagger and asked to see the palm of my right hand, i held it out for him, he held my hand, i felt the sparks but i pretended i didn't feel them, i watched as he cut my hand than his, we dropped the blood into the cup, then he tipped it over to let the blood drop to the ground,

“Ladies and gentlemen, i would like for you to meet Cassidy our new pack member, he held my hand raising my arm up, then they looked up into the sky howling, this is pretty cool but i wish he would let go of my hand so i would stop feeling the sparks, all i could think about is him kissing me and holding me in his arms, i had to fight the feeling, i didn't want him to know i knew we were mates he has his reasons for hiding it, and i have mine. i want him to love me for me, not because i am his mate, He suddenly let my arm down gently, then he let go of my hand, he stepped down off the stage,

“Guys i have some work to do in the office, so go ahead and go on the run, Cassidy dear welcome to the pack, i hope to get to know you better real soon, but right now i have some work to do in my office, maybe tomorrow we can meet up and i can help you train, Cassie, if you don't mind, she will be taking the day off, i want her to start training,” Cassie looked from me to him than smiled like she knew something i didn't know, He hurried away. i looked over at everyone else, they shifted so i guess they were waiting for me now, so i shifted too, this was going to be fun, we started running in the woods, then around the borders, we ran into town than back into the woods pack to the pack house, once back home we howled before we shifted back to our human self, we all got dressed, everyone at the pack hugged me and welcomed me to the pack, no one was mean, or shoved me to the ground or called me names, or try to hurt me, but like i said, this was early, they could always show their true colors later on, i'm not fooled one bit, i learned the hard lesson from my old pack, no one is always nice or caring. i will be watching my back for now on in this pack. Now that i'm a member, they are free to do what they want and say what they want,
