Heather pov

i decided to go over Katherines house today, i needed to know if she has heard from her daughter, i just wanted to know that she is okay, that she is with another pack or she found a place of her own, i found her on the porch looking at something, when i walked up the steps, she smiled at me,

“Hello Heather sweetheart, how are you doing honey?” Kathrine has always been so nice to me, and so very kind to me and everyone else, i sat on the porch swing with her, we sat there for awhile and then i just bluntly asked her,

:Mrs, Kathrine. Have you heard from your daughter? Is she okay? has she found a place of her own or a pack?” She suddenly stood up she walked to one end of the porch to the other end, then she asked me to walk into the house with her, okay, she was being weird, but ill go inside with her,

“Would you like a glass of tea, or a coke or something?”

“No ma'am, i just wanted to know if she is okay,”

“Yes, she's okay. she is in a pack now, she's suppose to call me in a few days to let me know what pack she is in, Her father and I are leaving, we are leaving everything behind, so he won't think anything, we will buy what we need on the way, We need to be careful so the alpha won't think anything,” we will just tell him we are going out to dinner that night and then wont come back, we won't tell you when so if he ask you anything you don't know anything, So the less you know, the better it is okay, but i want you to have something, i want you to keep this and not give it to anyone,”

Its a photo of us with Cassidy when she was a child, there is something inside this frame that you can not show anyone, when we are gone, i want you to break this frame and read what's inside of it, if Alpha Drake knows that i have this he would stop at nothing to get it and destroy it, the frame is small so you can place it in your pants pocket, but you need to get going, i know you need to get some rest from training today,”

“Mrs Kathrine, i want you to know that i love you very much, you have been so kind to everyone, i'm going to miss you so much, but once you get to where you are going, i want you to call me to let me know that your okay,”

“I will baby girl, tell no one what we talked about, we don't want anyone knowing what we are doing okay,” i agreed to her demand, well it wasn't really a demand, she asked me not to say anything, and i will never say a word to anyone, the less i know the better off i will be, I stuck the frame in my pocket, i hugged her tightly knowing this will be the last time i would hug her, and then i left to head home, When i got to the house, Chirs already took a shower, I knew i needed one, but i was holding onto the picture tightly in my hands, he noticed i was holding something. he asked me what it was,

:Its a photo of Cassidy and her family, im suppose to look at what inside of it once they are gone, she told me if Drake finds out i have it, he will stop at nothing to destroy it, so we need to be careful with it, we need to hide it,” i knew i had a floor safe in my room, so this is what i told him,

“Listen, i know i can trust you with my life, but the less you know the better off you will be, let me go lock this up in my safe, if you knew where the safe is, he could torture you until you tell him where it is, im just covering all the grounds okay, he nodded agreeing with me, I walked into the room moving my hope chest careful not to scracth the floor, i opened a small door on the floor, opened it up i found the safe, i did the password, i opened the door, placed the frame inside then locked it, shutting the small door, i pushed the hope chest back in its place, everything was done, i walked back outside to the living room,

“Are you hungry? He nodded, "Yes, so I cooked dinner." He never asked where my safe was. He knew the least he knew about things. The better it would be

If the alpha started asking questions, we wouldn't know about anything, but it made me wonder what was in the frame she gave me. I'll have to wait until they leave, I promised her that much.we went to bed that night, the morning came way too fast when I knew we needed to get up to get to the training ground.

Drake pov

I knew something was brewing. But I didn't know what it was. Kathrine had been coming here cooking and cleaning. She even cleaned my office. I hurried inside to make sure nothing had been taken. I'm getting paranoid for no reason at all. Things have been so peaceful here since I kicked Cassidy out. But to be honest, I miss her, I miss her scent that's left in here when she leaves. I missed the cleanness when she got done cleaning. She would make sure nothing was left unclean. I missed her rolling of her eyes the way she walked out of here in a hurry. What am I thinking? Am I going insane or something?

“You miss your mate, you rejected her for no reason, you kicked her out because she kicked your ass for the way you talked to her and whored around, I told you that would happen dumb ass.” I knew my wolf was right. But damn did he always have to call me a dumb ass. So I said the thing I knew what to say. Even though he might be happy about that. I knew I wouldn't. It's the only way to keep all the pack together and not leave here.

“Alright Rex. You win. I'm not going to like this one bit. The pack is going to die because of this, but I'll get my trackers to find her and bring her back. I take back my rejection okay Rex”” he laughed, saying to me.

“The only way you can take the rejection back is to have her in front of you l, then you're supposed to say. I Drake take my rejection back, and you better hope she takes her back or your s**t out of luck. You know everyone hates you, right? They don't want to be here but they stay and hope that you change, you're only changing to get her back once she's back.your going to go back to your old ways, it's not fair to them,” they will get over it. They will have her back if they can't be happy with that oh well. I want her back here with me.” I got out my cell phone to call my trackers here. I knew I would have to wait a day for them to get here. But I needed them here with me so I could talk to them. The faster she is found and brought back here, the better it will be. I will mate and mark her. And then make her have my pups. They would be weak. But that's a chance I have to take. She better have boys. If she has girls. We are going to have a problem.
