Heather pov

I couldn't believe we got kicked out of our pack. I thought I could trust Derry. We were starting to be friends, I was training her hard thinking she was going to be the next top warrior. She was doing so well. But the next thing we knew, we were being lined up against the pack house wall. I knew somehow Derry was involved, so I only trained her on the kicks and hits, the beginners' way of fighting. The others were way ahead of her. But I don't think she ever noticed. That's the worst thing about it. She was always late. I somehow knew what was going to happen. So we got prepared for it. We figured out where Cassidy was. We sent our bags at a nearby hotel that was close to her new pack, we started seeing Alpha Drake watching us closely, and then boom! We were being lined up against the wall with Drake pacing back and forth. He admitted that Derry was the one that told him what we had planned, and we had ten minutes to get off his land, o we would be killed. We didn't even go home. Or s**t was already packed and sent off to a hotel. Theeople at the hotel told me they would keep our things safe until we got there. I knew he sent hunters after us. So once they started shooting at us. I jumped into a tree.

I waited until one was underneath the tree that I was hiding in. He had a bow and arrow. He was aiming at one of the girls. I waited. Then I jumped down on him, ripping his head off. Growling at the others, threw the head at the hunters. Then I ran off. Now we are at the hotel in the dining area, eating breakfast for the second week in a row. I was fed up and wanted a pack to be in. Or we could make our own pack, by some land on it, and then become a pack. We had forty of us, that's a start. I stood up from the table. Everyone stopped to see what I was doing. I don't understand why they want to follow me. But hey, it is what it is. Chris stood beside me, looking around. As I began to talk.

“Guys. We are away from Drake now. We can buy some land. Build on it and form our own pack. We have over forty of us. It's a start. So what do you say?” Pam stood up looking at me. I thought she was going to argue with me. But instead, she agreed.

“I agree to this only on one condition, I want you to be the alpha. You led us in the right direction, you knew what was going to happen, and you took action. Who here agrees with me?” Taking a look around , everyone stood up agreeing with Pam. I honestly thought they would want Chris to be the alpha, but nope. What do you say, Heathe? Do younna be the alpha of our new pack?” Looking at my mate then back at them. I didn't really know what to say. I was honored. But first we had to buy some land.

“Yes I agree to it but let's just hope the elders agreed to the new pack, once we were done eating. I started making phone calls. They said there is free land that no one has. It was about an hour away from Alpha Bear's pack. So I went to the bank and took what money I had to take out. Yes I had plenty. I've been saving since I was ten years old. If you need money, give me a call, I will be happy to help.” It took three days to get the wood, we had to chop down trees and that helped as well. We decided to build the houses first. Then laid the pipes for water, and trust me it was hard doing that, but once we found the water source, we got it going. And then the othe tricky way is electric,. Weto pay to get poles near the land and the wiring. I was glad that it was done. Once the houses was done, we decided to build the pack house. I didn't know how many rooms we needed. So I did over forty rooms. A huge kitchen. A family room, my office, and everything that we could think of. The next tough thing to do is the furniture. Peoplewould notice trucks coming down a road that was never there before. How am I going to do this? I didn't want anyone knowing we were a new pack just yet. But here we are. So it took another two days. The elders made sure the roads were blocked off until the trucks got there. Once done we unloaded the trucks. It's been crazy lately. A lot of crazy. Bear has been trying to swoon me. He took me out to a candlelight dinner a few weeks ago. Soft music was playing we were by ourselves in this Italian restaurant, this place was really nice, the lights were dim, we were eating when he looked up smiling at me,
