Bear pov

I couldn't help but think about the amazing night we had together, we had dinner, talked, laughed and now we are heading back home, when we pulled up there was another car parked by the gates, the guards were not letting them through, I looked at Cassidy,

“If I asked you to stay in the car, would you? i knew she wouldn't but i couldn't help but ask her, we both got out of the car walking toward the other car, they had a woman in front of the car they were talking to her, Hearing Cassidy gasp, she ran toward the girl I heard her scream Heather, The Brown hair girl turned to look in her direction, she got away from the guard running toward Cassidy, they slammed into each other hugging one another,

“"I thought something happened to you, Derry came telling me that Drake banished you, Chirs and a few others, are yall okay? Where are you staying?” I hurried over to greet the new guest,

“If you have nowhere to go, you can stay in our pack?” i suggested, but something tells me she has a place to go,I felt an aura coming off of her, an alpha aura,

“Thank you Alpha, But we have our own pack, When He banished us, we decided to build our own pack, They appointed me as their alpha, i thought they would want Chirs, but instead they wanted me, it took awhile to build but we did it, we are now the Blue Sly wolf pack, were only an hour away from this pack, But Cassidy, we have much to talk about, Drake is crazy man, he wants you back and he will stop at nothing to get you, i don't know why he's like this right now, i think it's because Cassie rejected him, thats what set him off, but never mind that right now, i have a few more people that would love to see you,” We heard car doors open and shut, we turned to look to see what was going on, a few other women got out walking toward us, Cassidy looked wide eyed then ran over to them, she hugged all of them then walked them over to introduce us, Bear, this is Pam, Amy, and Penny, these girls were my rock when i was in that pack, yall guys need to come in and sit back in relax, are you hungry, they said no, we got in the cars, the guards pulling the gates open, we drove through the gates, once parked at the pack house, we went inside than set in the family room.

“Alright guys, spill the beans, what went on after i left, Derry dropped my parents things off, telling me that you been banished from the pack, that Chirs was going to challenge Drake but She told him all about it,” that reminds me she hasn't even looked at her parents things, i knew she wasn't ready, but she needed to go through them, just incase something important was in their belongings, i won't say anything right now, when they leave that's when i will say something, but it's up to her if she wants to do that,

“Well for starters, I was training Derry, because she was wanting to learn, i thought she changed, but things started happening, she would come to training late, or she would have an excuse to go talk to Drake about something, this was going on for a few weeks, then one day we were lined up against the wall, we already knew what was going to happened, so we moved our things at a nearby hotel. Drake told us either we leave and be banished or die, that he knew all along what was going on and we had better be lucky it was the only thing he would do to us, so we left, it took a while to build our pack but we did it, even the elders helped us, they agreed on the pack name and signed off on the pack once we got the border fence put in place, i'm sure rogues are going to try and get through it, but if they tried touching the fence, they would get a shock of their life, I know that Drake is wanting Cassidy back, i think he thinks once she is back, than she will bow down to him and do what she is told, But i can tell that you have changed girl, you got yourself a mate, and your marked,

“Well that's a long story, i am only marked so my scent will change so the trackers wouldn't find me, But that all changed once the others tracked down the other trackers that mrs Rose killed, but Bear is my mate, we are working on us, he understands that i want to be loved for me not because of some mate bond, and he wants the same, so we are working on that, the mated part is put on hold until we find out what we really want out of this,” they all looked from her to me, that back at her, The brown hair green eye girl that they call Heather shook her head, as she looked at my mate, than back at me once more,

“Listen, i know your an alpha, but if you hurt my friend, you will have to deal with me,” laughing i told her i would never hurt her, she is my life now,

“Oh look, more of the skanks have arrived, that's just great more to just keep my man away from me, We looked at the doorway hearing Cady's voice,

“Don't mind her, she will get the picture sooner or later, she knows i don't want her, they nodded, then turned to Cassidy, listen girl we have to get going, but we will be back in a few days, i just want you to be careful okay, don't go off the land without someone with you, or a guard, Drake has people everywhere just waiting to grab you to take you back there, we got up walking them out, we watched as the car drove off, When i turned around Cassidy was gone, now where the h3ll did she go,

Cassidy pov

I was so excited about my friends being here, i offered them something to eat but they were not hungry, we went into the family room, Where Heather told me all about what had happened, she told me that Drake had people everywhere ready to grab me to drag me back, i didn’t want to go back, at the end we walked them out, i watched as their car drove off, i knew i needed to look through my parents things, i been putting it off far to long, i just wanted to mourn and not look through it, if i did then i know they are really gone, I went to the room where i put my parents things at, i sat in a chair for almost an hour looking at the bags and the hope chest, did i really want to look through these things,

“If you don't, then they might just fade away Cassidy, there are things that might be in there that you need to look through., maybe a letter or two, just look through the first bag, and if you want to stop, then stop, but at least its a start,” My wolf Gabby had said, i knew she was right, So i pulled the first bag to me, it was really heavy so i had to drag it to where i was sitting at, Bear found where i was, he said nothing but sat beside me, i was thankful for the company, lets just see what was in this first bag, lets just hope nothing jumped out at me, here i go, i unzipped the huge bag taking a deep breath i opened it, the first item there was, was a photo of my mom and dad, my dad was holding me when i was just a child, the frame was broken, thanks to Derry shoving it in there like it was nothing, they looked so young in this photo, moms eyes were so bright so was my dads, they were smiling wide in this photo, my dad had short dark hair and my mom had shoulder length dark hair, i remembered when i was a little girl i use to love playing with her hair, i took out the photo that was in the broken frame, careful about the broken pieces of glass that was coming out of it, i reached in there again, pulling out a envelope. that read,

“READ ME AFTER LOOKING THROUGH THESE THINGS,” It was in my fathers hand handwriting, how did he know., how did he know i was going to get this, did he know he was going to die that day, did he know what was going to happen, i didn't listen to what the writing said, i think my dad knew, So i opened the envelope i pulled out what was inside, it was a letter with some bank statements,

“My dear Cassidy,

I thought i told you to read this after you looked through our things, but that was always you my dearest daughter, if you are reading this, Then we are no longer around, i'm so sorry that we are gone honey, but know that Drake has done this, no matter what anyone else says, Drake is the one that had done it, He had made me a guard knowing i had no training, i knew it was just a matter of time, First he casted you out, than everything was going down hill, Oh honey, Your mother and I miss you so much, just know we are so proud of you, these bank statements is an account we had done for you, we would put money in it each week, no one knows about this account, so if you need the money, you go and talk to this guy, his name is Tanker, he is the one of the guys that owns the bank, he knows all about you, there is also an old hotel that belongs to us, it is yours now, it needs to be touched up, so do what you want with it, now put this letter down and look through the rest of these things, we love you so much honey., and remember we are so proud of you,

placing the letter down, i sat there for a few minutes, i didn't want to cry right now, though the tears were threatening to spill from my eyes,
