Bear pov

i was just sitting there watching her, she placed this letter down she was reading, but i didn't want nothing of it, i was to worried about her, is this what love is, worrying about your other half, or was this just the mate bond, When she looked up at me, all i could see was me in her eyes, she told me i could read the letter, i really didn't want to, but she kept watching me to see what i would do, So to make her happy, i picked it up than read it, it talked about her bank account that no one knows about and a hotel that was now hers that needed some touch ups, i placed the letter down,

“If you want to see the hotel after this, it has a address to it, we can get it touched up and open it up in your parents honor,” she nodded not saying anything, she looked down at the bag, she continued to pull things out, some were photos that were broken, i could fix that i'm sure we have frames we can place the photos in, there was jewelry watches, and other items in it, she placed the other stuff back in the bag, but kept the photos and the letter with the bank statements out, she was reaching for the next bag, i got up to help her, moving out of the way, she unzipped the other bags, there was more photos some were broken others weren't, there was folders of paperwork that she would need to look through, so she placed them were the letter was, there was actually another letter, she said this one was from her mother, she read it out loud to me, i felt honored that she had done this when she really didn't have to do it,

‘My dearest daughter

I told your father i would write you a letter after he had written his, as you know we are no longer here, and i know your father had told you why, Yes, Drake was the reason for all of this, he's the type when he feels threatened, he will get rid of the threat, remember to look at the hotel, and go the bank, talk to Tanker, he will give you everything that you need, If you have found your mate, i hope he is treating you well, I want you to know honey, we are so proud of you and we love you very much, Now go get what is yours my sweet child,

she placed the letter down empting the rest of the bag, it had a few daggers she placed to the side, she found her mothers ruby ring and earrings, with a necklace, they were very beautiful, she found their wedding bands, it made me wonder if they placed them in the bag hoping she would find them, or if Derry placed them in there, the last was this hope chest, she sat there looking at it, so i got up brought it over to her sitting it down infront of her, I asked my mom what a hope chest was, she told me,

“Honey, its things her mother put in there in hopes she would be able to use it, like a wedding dress or other things like that, when she finally opens it up, she is going to need you, so be there for her,” my mom and dad knows i've been trying with her alot lately, they give me so much advice, that i'm really grateful for, my parents are amazing, I wish i could tell her i knew what she was going through, but i couldn't, all i could do was be there for her, she unlocked a necklace from around her neck, it had a small key attached to it, she unlocked the chest, it was full of things that was inside, she pulled out serval odd looking objects that i've never seen before, she placed them on a nightstand that was in the room, then she pulled out something that was in a large package, she opened it, out came a beautiful wedding gown, oh no, i saw the f*****g gown, but she was shocked as well, she didn't know what to think about it, there was a note on the dress,

“When you get married, wear this dress and think about me, love mom.” tears started coming down her face, getting up she hung the dress in the closet, she stood there looking at it for a few minutes, than came back over to sit down, sighing she closed the chest,

“I think i'm done with looking through it for today, but if you don't mind would you take me to this bank tomorrow and to see this hotel?”

“Of course honey, if that's what you want to do, i am with you all through this honey, i know it's going to be rough, if you want my mom to come along i'll let her know okay,”

“No, i think i will be okay, But with all these emotions going through my head right now it' making me pretty tired, Would it be okay, if i stayed in your room tonight, i really do not want to be alone right now?” I had to hide my shock and my excitement, i wasn't going to get my hopes up on mating, but i had to shift a little because i was getting hard, noticed than smirked at me,

“Come down mt Alpha, it's not what you think, but thank you for that,” chuckling i took her by the hand leading her to my room, her room was locked so there was no way no one could get in there, pulling out a shirt from my dresser, handing it to her, you can go to the bathroom and change if you want, that way i can change, ill wear my boxers and a shirt that way you wont get offended,” she rolled her eyes heading to the bathroom, when she came back out, she was wearing my shirt that covered her up, my shirt went to her knees, so that's good, that way i wont feel tempted, but i couldn't help it i was already tempted, pulling her to me, kissing the top of her head,

Are you ready for bed, wiggling my eyebrows at her, she playfully slapped my chest, picking her up over my shoulder, dropping her on the bed, she was laughing so hard she almost fell off the bed, that caused me to laugh, i was so glad to see a smile on her face, I knew she had been upset lately, and all i been trying to do is get her to smile, and right now, she had the biggest smile on her face, i laid beside her putting my arm around her, i wanted to badly to do the things that i only been dreaming about doing to her, and damn it was hard not to, I was just glad i got her in my bed, maybe we can continue this, move her things in my room, and that would be it, we will see what will happen tomorrow after the bank and the look at the hotel thing,
