LIV'S POV
Minister Cornet leaving us to clean up his mess had to be the worst thing that had ever happened to me in my life.
I was even more shocked to see that Ryder didn't react. He allowed the Minister go just like that.
We were left alone in the room and I stared at the body of Alpha Zayn on the floor.
"You have the chance to kill him now," I said to Ryder. "Why leave it for later?"
"It's not yet time," Ryder growled. "If I kill him now, I'll be inviting a war to myself, a war um not exactly ready for. With Minister Cornet's plans, Alpha Zayn would be sentenced to death for the murder of Alice by the next court session. Killing him would be implicating myself and that would be a very dumb thing to do."
