It had been a whole week since my discussion with Liv and we had still not noticed anything strange from Ivan. I quickly concluded that it was either Liv had lied to me, or Ivan was smarter than we gave him credit for. Whatever the case was, it was the least of my worries at the moment.
The first court hearing was the following day and I had not met with Alice yet. Every single time I said I would see her, something came up. It was either Father called us to practice what we would say at the court or the hotel authorities did their dumb routine check up.
