ARIEL'S POV
The events of the last week had been overwhelming - from Alpha Zayn's sentence, escaping from the court with the triplets, and trying to further the investigations to link Ryder and the Minister together. I certainly didn't expect that things could get any worse than they were now until Jessica broke the news to me.
Alpha Zayn had been poisoned.
I didn't know how to react to the news initially. On a normal day, I could be an enemy to him, or maybe just a random s*x slave. But now, I was working my ass out trying to save him and his sons from impending doom. If he died, I was certainly going to feel it.
