Everyone was in sheer panic. They weren’t getting any answers from Anna and Emily’s phone was closed. Alexander was panicking inside and he didn’t know what to do.
He kneeled in front of a crying-mess Anna and he put his hands on her knees.
“Anna, please calm down a bit. Can you explain what’s going on?”
“I received a call a while back and it was from the hospital. They said Emily was hospitalized a few hours ago and I was registered as her first emergency contact.”
“Which hospital? Did they say anything else?”
“They said that she was found unconscious in her office and that I need to go there as soon as possible.”
“How could I not hear of this! Emily did not come to work today. If something like this happened in the company I would’ve heard.”
