It was a week after the masquerade, Emily was on her way to the company while listening to the radio. She heard on a show that Alexander’s book proved to be a best-seller on its first week of being published. She made a mental note for herself to make sure she sends a gift as a congratulation. These formalities were never her cup of tea but it had to be done.
