The front door to the room gently came open, Mia and Meon took their eyes to the door to see Darren standing by it.
“Finally” Meon sounded relieved and excited at the same time…. The sight of the prince had sent any form of weakness away from his body.
“Where’s Diarmuid?” Darren asked looking around the room.
“I don’t know… you were with him right?”
“Is something wrong?” Mia stood up from where she sat and Meon did the same.
“Well, something like that…. Can I talk to you for a bit” Mia felt an uncomfortable sensation in her stomach, she couldn’t guess what he’d want to talk to her about…. The only thing that came to her mind was maybe she was dying and nothing could be done – her tummy did a back flip at the thought and she tried hard to push it off.
