Thank you so much for reading On the Brink. When I began writing the first book in the Berlin Fractured Series From the Ashes I had no idea about the incredible amount of research I was about to carry out.
On the BrinkFrom the AshesOne of my “tasks” was to travel to Berlin and visit the historic locations mentioned in the books, including Karlshorst, the American headquarters and the former airports Tempelhof and Gatow.
Tempelhof is under monument conservation and looks exactly like when it was still in operation, even though the buildings and hangars are now used for different purposes, mostly offices for startup companies. As part of a tour, I visited the airfield, a hangar, and the former administration building – including an indoors basketball hall in the fifth floor –
