He had spent a wonderful day sightseeing with Bruni. In fact he’d never had so much fun with a woman, although she was totally not his type, because he usually preferred the more serious, intelligent woman to a shallow social butterfly like her. But much to his surprise Bruni had turned out, if not intellectual, at least street-wise and with a huge heart for her friends, and – most important of all – she’d kept him rolling over laughing with her dry remarks and devil-may-care attitude.
