“Xena! Get up your going to be late for your first day at your new school!”Someone yelled downstairs. “, Ok Katelyn. I'm up.” Xena said, trying to fix her messy bun. She stood up, staring at her clothes, deciding if she would wear her Hoodie or go in a long sleeve shirt. Sighs that she barely fits her clothes anymore. Her 5’3 stature loomed over her mirror, barely seeing her brown hair and green eyes looking in the mirror. After a few minutes and slight cursing, decides to wear both. She goes downstairs to see her Step-mom Katelyn, Half-Brother Blake, and her dad Jackson. “ Well look who finally decided to come downstairs,” Katelyn said, rolling her eyes. “Good morning darling. I hope you sleep well. But I leave tonight so maybe we can do a family dinner before I go. I will be going away on a teaching business trip. I'll is back in a couple of weeks. What do you say?” Jackson said, looking at his children. “Sure dad.” Blake and Xena said, in unison. “Terrific! Now run along, otherwise, you will be late for school Xena. Try to make friends!” Jackson said, cheerfully. Xena grabbed her stuff and got into the car. “It's 7:45 in the morning and he is so damn cheerful. Xena, what’s wrong?” Blake asked pulling out of the driveway. “Nothing. I just don’t like Katelyn. Dad doesn’t see anything she does or says. She cheats on him all the time!” Xena exclaims. “I know. Dad will eventually see it. Trust me, Xena. But Dad is right bout one thing. Try to make friends. Can you do that please, it’s your last year of school?” Blake asked. “ I’ll try.” Xena sighed, looking and the trees going by.
School- Nikita

Nikita said happily, knowing it gets to Christopher when he gets called Chrissy. She rushes towards Biology, knowing Ms. Beau hates when kids are late. She sits down in the back, Just as the bell rings. “Saved by the bell” she mutters to herself. She starts writing down the notes when she hears Ms. Beau starts. “I don’t like when kids are late to class. Why are you late for my class?” Ms. Beau says, annoyed. “She is now here Ms. Beau. She hasn’t gotten used to being here yet” Said the principal. “Oh, I'm sorry Mr. Johnson. What is your name, young lady?” Ms. Beau said. “Xena,” Xena said. “Go sit next to Nikita. Nikita raises your hand.” Ms. Beau said. Nikita raises her hand. Johnson leaves and Ma. Beau goes back to teaching. “So there is your assignment. Now whoever you sitting next to is your partner for the rest of the year. Get to work.” Ms. Beau said sitting down. “ So, New girl. Xena is it? Tell me bout yourself.” Nikita asked. “ Well, you know my name. Um... I have a half-brother, his name is Blake. My dad is always out on business trips and I have a Stepmom, Katelyn, I don’t like her. I like movies and gaming. How about you, Nikita is it?” Xena asked back. Nikita smiles “ Well I have my own house and my parents live in a different state. I'm the Queen of parties. I am throwing one next weekend if you wanna come by. I have my best friend Chrissy. It's Christopher but only I call him Chrissy. You meet him at lunch, maybe. But I can tell we are going to be friends.” Nikita said happily. Xena looks at her. “She barely knows me and wants to be friends. Maybe this year I can make really good friends.
