Now, quality of life is something the living focus on quite a lot. They say that if you do something you love, you’ll never have to work a day in your life.
But I can tell you that’s not true at all. Work is necessary and not usually pleasant. If you’re dead, you’re going to be working a lot. For a long time. Unless you’re a billionaire and you can live off the interest in your savings account.
For most vampires, however, they were turned with a sense of permanence in mind. They would work, retire, then die. But without dying, is there really a time to retire? And you can’t do that without working.
