CHAPTER THIRTY-SEVEN

2218 Words
As he was laying on bed, looking at the ceiling. A thought hit him. Sebastian disappeared, and when he went to see the werewolves, Arron was not there. From the beginning, that man wanted to title of an alpha. So, he might be the one who kidnapped Sebastian, so he can take over. He jumped from bed and wiped his tears. Then shadow walked and seconds later appeared at Sebastian’s house. He began searching and finally found Arron. Sleeping peaceful. Time to wake the bastard. Trevor took a fist full of Arron’s shirt. The man immediately opened his eyes. But Trevor gestures for him not to scream because it was just him. Then he walked him to the front door and knocked on the door. After a couple of minutes, he knocked again. Arron kept on asking Trevor why he had to wake him so abruptly and why did he wake him up in the first place? But Trevor didn’t reply to him. He only kept on gesturing for him to keep his mouth shut. He knocked for the third time and a man’s voice oozed for them to hold on. Then, after a few seconds, the door swung open. Martin was standing at the door, rubbing his eye. Without even bothering to ask for permission, Trevor entered and dragged Arron with him. “Trevor, this is the second time you are disturbing my sleep. What’s up?” Arron asked as he closed the door and followed them to the couches. “How can you ask me such a stupid question? Your alpha is missing, and you are all busy sleeping. How incompetent,” he said under clenched teeth. “I didn’t mean it like that, Trevor.....” “What mean doesn’t matter, what matters is what you have said,” he interrupted, “anyway, I didn’t come for that. Arron and I need to have a friendly chat.” But there was nothing friendly about the way he looked at Arron. There was fire burning in his eyes. “Me and you chat? Boy, get back to reality,” Arron laughed lightly and got up. But Trevor sat him back down again. “But why didn’t you just take him? Is there a reason you wake me up?” Martin asked, making sure to keep his tone down. “To tell you, he is coming with me. He might not come later today.” “Wait, you don’t think I have anything to do with Sebastian’s disappearance, do you?” Arron asked. “No one said that. But it would be a problem considering it, right? And let’s not forget that you have been longing for his tittle as alpha, Arron.” “Yes, I want the tittle of an alpha. But I didn’t abduct your friend, man.” “And no one is accusing. Anyway, let’s go. We don’t want to worst time,” Trevor got up and lifted Arron. “Just keep an eye on everyone, Martin,” Martine nodded, “and if you see anything unusual call me ok?” He nodded again. “See you then,” and he winked out of sight. Seconds later, they appeared inside the library. “You and I are going to have a long talk,” Trevor said as he dragged Arron to the table. “Trevor, I’m telling the truth, I have no idea where your friend is,” Arron cried. “Shut up your ass,” he punched Arron on the face and the man went unconscious. Then he put him on the chair and called his nature powers. Green veins protruded underneath the chair Arron was at, and they wrapped around him. Tying him to the chair. * Minutes later, Trevor came back with a bucket of water and splashed it on Arron’s face. The man coughed loudly as he opened his eyes. “Do you want to kill me?” He screamed. “I’m considering it,” Trevor replied. “Wait, why am I tied? Trevor how man......” “Times you are going to tell me, you don’t have Sebastian? Multiple,” he interrupted rudely. “But I’m hoping you don’t have to do that.” He got up from his chair and went closer to Arron. “Here is what we are going to do. A wrong answer is equal to one punch. So, you might want to spit it out as soon as possible,” Trevor said and folded his hand into a fist. “Trevor, this is stupid. I don’t know where Sebastian is. And you are just worst you time.” “Where were you when I came to Sebastian’s house earlier?” He asked, ignoring Arron’s comment. “I was taking a stroll.” “Wrong,” he punched Arron in the face. Blood began coming out of Arron’s nose. The man looked up at Trevor, eyes burning with anger. “Oh, don’t even try. Your beast won’t come to your rescue even today, man. So better spit it out,” Trevor said as he rounded Arron. “What did you do?” “Don’t worry, your werewolf form will be working, as long as you tell me what I want to hear,” he smirked. “Let’s do this again. Where were you earlier?” “I have told you I was taking a stroll, you bastard!” He shouted. But that was only enough to earn him another face punch. “I think you might be ready to talk if a take drastic measures.” Arron looked at Trevor and there was no tress of humanity in his eyes. The man had reached extreme anger. “What are you going to do?” Trevor just disappeared and then about a minute appeared. He went and sat in his chair. Then snapped his fingers and fire began burning underneath Arron. The man screamed at the top of his lungs, but something was off because he wasn’t burning. Arron looked at the fire in awe. “Oh, you won’t turn into ashes, you will just feel the pain. Hell fire,” Trevor explained. And the other surprising part was the veins were also not burning. “Are you ready to talk, or I should increase the flame?” The fire began reaching his chest. “I will tell you,” he sighed. “Good boy,” Trevor’s smile stretched. “See, we are finally understanding each other.” He snapped his fingers and the fire extinguished. “Now, do tell.” “First, promise me you will let me go after I tell you everything,” he asked, still breathing heavier. “You won’t be of any use to me. Why the hell will I torture myself by seeing your face every day? Hell no. Now tell me where Sebastian is.” “I don’t really know where he is. But someone approached me and told me they hate Sebastian as much as I hate him. And that we should work together.” “Who?” “A tall black man. I never saw his face because he was always with his mask.” “Do you at least know where he lives?” “Not sure, but I think it must be closer to a forest because we were always there. Every time he picked me up, I was always blind forded. But I could hear the trees blowing and birds whistling. And there was a waterfall as well.” “How stupid can you be? You walked with someone who was so secretive that he never showed his face to you. Pathetic. Anyway, did you notice anything apart from that? Because I can’t make out anything from whatever you just told me.” “I head him talking on the phone, to a woman. But he was calling her queen. So, I presumed she was his boss,” he paused for a while, then a thought hit him. “Oh, and he mentioned that he was near a garden compound and I could hear on our way back an industry was close by.” Trevor got up from the table and began pacing. The man also worked for a woman. Could it be the one the academies were telling him about? Oh, this was another one? But whatever the case, Sebastian’s life was the only thing important at the moment. So, the sooner he gets on to finding the place, the better. “I will be back with you. Right now, I have to go and find those cowards who can’t face me. And because of your stupidity, you will have to pay,” he shot one glance at Arron then shadow walked. Seconds later, he appeared inside Santa’s dan, in front of Death and Hope. “Is your friend ok?” Hope asked. “Not really. Anyway, do you have any idea of where she could be? Your boss?” “We told you that we never saw her,” Death replied. “What about the man who was delivering news to you? Do you know where he might be?” “Not really. Wait, why are you asking about her directions? Do you want to confront her? Alone?” Hope asked. “Hope, what I want to do doesn’t matter right now. Did the man take you to a place with a waterfall?” “I think I heard something like that,” Death said. “And what’s in for us? This information is priceless,” Hope asked, looking directly into Trevor’s eyes. “I will think about your reward later. I have to go,” without allowing them to reply, he winked shut. And appeared near a waterfall. Then a thought hit him. The place was colossal. It will take him hours before he finds Sebastian. And time was something he didn’t have. So, he shadow walked back. And this time it took him about two minutes to appear in front of Death and Hope. Which was threatening. His powers were decreasing, and he needs to be in full capacity when facing the woman. “Did you find her?” Hope asked. “No.....not really,” he gasped, and leaned on the chair. “Are you ok?” Death asked. “Ye….” Before he could even finish his sentence, his eyes winked shut, and he fell to the ground. * “Trevor, wake up,” he heard Loveness crying. He opened his eyes and locked them with Loveness’s watery one. Then he got up and sat in a sitting position. He looked around him, his vision still dim. But he was able to tell that everyone was around him. Except for Natasha. Apparently, the woman was still mad. But one thing she was forgetting was Trevor had helped them through tough times than this one. She knew Trevor wouldn’t let anything happen to his family members, especially Sebastian. But she just kept on saying he was to blame for her husbands’ disappearance. Yes, the cowardly idiots who took Sebastian wanted to get back at Trevor, or something like that. But it was no way this was his fault. It was not like he told the people to kidnap Sebastian. But the woman failed to understand that. “Father, are you ok?” Mutale moved and sat next to Trevor. “Yes, I’m fine. What happened?” He touched his head. “We find you laying on the floor inside Santa’s, dan. Well, somewhat, Hope communicated to me, using his mind.” “I have to go,” he jumped from bed, but Loveness pulled him back. “You are not going anywhere in that condition, Trevor. What do you think you are doing, eh? Who the hell do you think will help me raise this baby if you die?” Tears began feling from her eyes. “I know you want to save Sebastian, but not in that condition. You have no energy in you to do that!” She scolded. “But......” “No, buts uncle. Loveness is right. You need to charge up,” Isaac said. “Why the hell did you have to allow him inside?” He looked from Mutale to Justine. “He couldn’t stop crying. But you need to rest. You can go and look for uncle Sebastian later tonight,” Justine said. “What time is it?” Trevor asked, his face looking blank. “Ten in the morning,” Erup replied. “How long have I been asleep?” “Well, we found you around five, so approximately four to five hours,” Mutale said. “You all don’t understand. If I don’t go now, it might be too late. I need to go and save him,” he tried to get up again, but Loveness sat him back. “Uncle, Trevor, we know you want to save father, but you can’t do that in your state,” Frazer said, tears streaming down his cheeks. “Oh, my boys, come here,” he said, and both the twins went running into his arms. He held them tightly as they cried. His eyes also began to get watery. There were no two way about this. He just had to save Sebastian.
