JonahOver the next three weeks, I became laser-focused on planning Shannon’s birthday. Since it fell on Halloween, she insisted on celebrating the night before because she had trick-or-treating plans with Olivia.
“You can come if you want. I’m meeting at Jeff’s at six for dinner. Trick-or-treating starts at seven.” She shared her plans one night when I stopped by her apartment.
