Chapter 15

*** summerstar P.O.V ***

Yesterday I didn’t really do anything. I hung around the house and tried to get my homework done since I haven't been to school in a month. Josh has come over to hang out and help. Mom and dad have finally marked each other. I didn’t know that when we mark each other it becomes a tattoo. They are the same. Other than the name in the tattoo, it is a different mom's mate to Samuael m. and it is two. One howling at the moon. One is a dark brown with a white spot on its forehead and the other is a light brown with a white spot on its forehead. We do not know whose wolf is whose and my dad looks the same as he says mates to Joan m. my wolf has been hounding me to left her out and run but I keep telling her I want my first shift to be with my parents and mate. I walked down to the pack house and I saw people running around with their heads cut off. I hear kail barking orders at everyone.

“Hey there, hot stuff! How was your mini vacation?”- Kail said.

“That wasn’t a vacation. I was trying to take it easy like the doctor said so I could go back to school.” Kail might be a little older than me but we have become friends. She is one of my best friends rather than Brookes and Stevens. Man, I feel bad with everything going on. I have forgotten to talk with them. I soon need to have a girl's night with her.

“Well, at least you're listening to the doctor. I know some people hint hint that don’t listen and then dr. Andrews is on my back,” Kail says.

“I'm trying to be better than I used to not and I will be even more hurt than before. Where is josh?”

“Oh, you want to leave me? I thought we would hang out while I got everything ready for tonight.”

“I would love to spend time with you but I have a mate to see before I let you take me away and put a dress on me and make me look more girly,” I said.

“Haha very funny. You know you love being girly sometimes. But he should be in the pack house in the kitchen eating breakfast. I will let them be for now and eat and hang out with you guys.”

“Then let's go but let the other omegas know they can take a break and eat breakfast.”

“Oh, look at you being a Luna already and caring about the pack members when eating. After working so hard, to make this evening go well for you. EVERYBODY, STOP WHAT YOUR DOING AND GO TAKE A 1 HOUR BREAKFAST BREAK AND MEET ME OUT HERE IN AN HOUR TO HOPEFULLY FINISH EVERYTHING BY TONIGHT.” kail yells.

“YES LUNA!” They all shout and go running inside to get breakfast.

“ Let's go before there is nothing left for us.”, Kail said.

“We already know the kitchen staff will make more food for us if they have to.”

“Not today. They have a lot of prep to do for the banquet food tonight.” we walked in and we went and sat where the alpha is. Kail kisses his cheek and sits next to him. I go and sit next to Josh and we hold hands under the table while we wait for the food to come out.

“Are you excited about being a part of the pack?” Jason asks.

“Yes, but still scared to shift for the first time,” I said.

“No need to be scared, it will come easy for us. You just need to trust me. If I tell you to do something, you do it.” Selene says.

“ It is easy for you to say you don’t have to deal with the pain.”

“Yes, I do. We are one in one body. What you feel I feel.”

“Oh... I'm sorry.”

“Are you arguing with your wolf?” Josh asked.

“No, not just talking.” as I said this, the food came out, we all ate.

“You need to get ready. For us to make you look good. Say good bye to lover boy and let's go. I’m going to have an omega help you because I have to help down here and make sure everything gets ready on time.”, Kail said.

“Okay josh I will see you later. I need to get orders from your mother,” I said.

“Okay, I hope you have fun. Don’t do too much. The doc said you need rest,” Josh said. I hugged him and he kissed my forehead while I went to my house.

“I'm just going to be sitting there while someone puts on my make-up and does my hair, then I will put on my clothes your mother chooses.” I said and left for my house.

“Good afternoon, Luna summerstar.” an omega says to me when I get to the house.

“Good afternoon. What is your name?”

“My name is Sarah.”

“Nice to meet you, Sarah.”

“Please let's go in and start getting you ready.”

“Thank you.” I opened the door and dad and mom were on the couch watching TV.

“Good afternoon Luna Summerstar’s family.”

“Sarah is that you?” dad asks.

“Oh my goddess dad and mom! Hi! How I have missed you!”

“Wait, is this your daughter too?”

“Well, she is adoptive like you. We were to find a pack for all of the werewolf children given to us other than you and it’s nice to see you too, Sarah. How has life been?”

“I'm doing great here! I love it. I went to college for hair and makeup and now I make a living in the mall at the hair and makeup counter there. When we have formal events at the pack house, I come and do all the lady's hair and makeup.”

“ That's good to hear. How are Maxwell and Brad?” dad asks.

“They are both worriers and guards, depending on the day, but I think they are good. They were good fighters, so they got good positions. I was not a good fighter, so I took a job at the mall. What happened to your house? Why are you guys here?”

“We sold it to move here. We were told by Summerstar’s real mother we needed to be here for her and to become werewolves. So that’s what we did and now we are here,” mom said.

“ It's nice to see you guys and my new little sister, but I have to get her ready for the party. Luna Kail will have a fit if Summerstar is not ready soon.”

“Wait before you go, do you still talk with Maxwell and Brad?” mom asks.

“Yes, we talk when we can. We are family after all and we grew up together.”

“I want a family dinner with everyone. I don’t think your brothers know we are here. I want to spend time with all of you. Mates are invited as well. The moon goddess was nice enough to make me and your father mates,” mom said.

“We will talk but I'm sorry I have to get my baby sister ready for her ceremony and go back to the Luna and do her hair and makeup. I love you and once you guys become part of the pack, we will make arrangements for all of us and our mates to have dinner.” Sarah grabbed my hand and started to head to my room to get me ready.

“ It's so good to have a little sister. I know we are not by blood, but it doesn’t matter to me. We will be a great family, I promise, and I think Maxwell and Brad would love to meet their baby sister as well.” she sits down on my bed and pulls out all her make-up and starts to put it on. Then, when she was done with my makeup, she went to do my hair. All of this took her about 3 hours.

“Please do not look at yourself in the mirror and please get your dress. I want to see what Luna you had. I know she has good taste.” I went into my closet and grabbed the dress and bring it to Sarah.

“Let me help so we don’t ruin my work. I don’t want to redo it.” Sarah takes the dress from me and I take off my clothes and she helps me put it on. Once I have the dress on, I grab my shoes and my purse.

“Oh, my goddess! I love the dress. It fits you and the shoes look so great! Alpha josh will not be able to keep his hands off of you. I told you Luna kail has good taste. I have to run and do Luna kail. Please do not go down until someone comes to get you. It shouldn’t be much longer.” Sarah gives me a bug hug and kisses me on the forehead and leaves with all her stuff. I go to the bathroom to see what I look like. I have very light make-up on but just enough to look good and my hair is curled. I love what she has done. She really is good. I walked out into the living room to show my mom and dad.

“Sugar plum, you look beautiful! I love the dress.” dad says.

“Baby, you look great. Everything goes well together. If you were not mated to josh, all the wolves would be all over you" mom says.

“We have to get ready. We will be right back,” dad says. Dad comes out and he has a nice dress shirt on that’s red. Then, about an hour later, my mom came out with a very pretty blue dress that came up to her mid-thigh.

“We went with pack colors.” mom says.

“You both look really nice. I love blue on you mom.” then we heard a knock on the door. My dad goes to open it.

“Good evening. The party will be starting soon and we would like you guys to make your way to the pack house and I will be escorting Luna Summerstar.”

“Good evening and what is your name?”

“My name is Maxwell. I will be your personal guard from now on.”

“Maxwell Madmarsho is that you?” mom asks.

“Mom? Dad? What are you doing here?”

“Goddess so good to see two of our children in one day. We are the new pack members. We moved here just about a month ago,” mom says.

“Wait, so you guys are werewolves? I thought you were human.”

“We were when we had you, but we are done being keepers and changed into werewolves for Summerstar. It was her parents' wishes.”

“So summerstar is my kid sister?”

“Yes, just not by blood.”

“I don’t care about blood. You guys are my parents. Sarah is my sister and Brad is my brother. It feels good to have a family. Group hug, then we got to go.” with that we all hugged and started to head to the pack house. I like that my family keeps getting bigger. Once we walked up to the pack house, I saw that there were lights that went to the garden and there was a big platform there with a microphone.

“Luna summerstar, you are to go to Luna kail’s office.”

“Bye mom and dad, we will see you when we are about to have the new members come up and vow to the alpha.”

“Bye mom and dad. I will see you guys in a bit.”

“Bye Summerstar and Maxwell,” they both said, and started walking to the garden while Maxwell took me to Luna's office. I knock and the door opens.

“Please come in. Thank you Maxwell.” Luna closed the door and sat me on the seat in front of her desk and she went to the other side and sat down.

“Thank you for coming. I wanted to go over some stuff with you before we went down. Plus, I want to torture josh.” as she giggles.

“What do I need to do?”

“When we go down you will be on the side of the platform beside beta, Mihcael, and Daniel, and gamma, Tyler and Mark and, Delta Erik and Simon. We will announce that when alpha Jason gives the pack to josh that these will be the new high rank pack members, then we will tell them that you will be the future Luna and then we will have them. Your mom and dad come to the stage and get the vows done and you will be part of the pack. Then we will change your mom and dad's clothes into a robe and you will then shift for the first time and go on a pack run. The way the pack run is held is, you josh me and alpha Jason will be the lead, then the betas, gammas, and deltas will follow behind and we will run the territory and come back to the pack house and eat.”

“Goddess, that’s a lot.”

“It might be a lot, but it is fun and worth the wait to do the pack run.”

“Okay thank you for the information.”

“ Let's go so we can start. I wanted you to know what we were going to do so you wouldn’t be lost. Oh yes, and by Josh’s command, Maxwell will be your personal guard and, where you go other than to bed and bathroom, he will go. After what Rebecca and her friends did, we will have someone with you all the time. Plus, it gives you a chance to get to know your older brother.” we started to head down the spiral stair case and head to the back of the pack house where the garden is. Alpha Jason is already waiting for us on the platform and I see a lot of pack members. I don’t think I have seen so many people in one place.

“Good evening blue moon pack. This will be the night that we will be introducing your new pack members and new alpha, Luna, beta, gamma, and delta’s.”

“YES ALPHA” they all yelled. I was just standing there and I felt weird, I was soon going to be the center of attention.

“You should all know Luna kail, beta Michael, gamma Tyler, elder Edith and I. this is going to be your new alpha when he turns 18 years old. My son Josh, his beta Daniel, gamma mark, and Delta Erik and Simon.” one by one they would go up there after their names were called and bowed.

“Josh has finally found his Luna. Luna summerstar. She may not have come from our pack but she and everyone up here will be treated with respect as you would treat all of us.” I went up there and stood next to, josh and bowed. All these eyes on me are making me very nervous.

“YES ALPHA!” they all yelled and started howling.

“We have 2 other members that will be joining our pack tonight and please welcome Joan and Samuael Madmarsho!” alpha bellowed to the crowd. There was more howling and hooting.

“Please come up to the stage”, mom and dad came up to the stage and I walked up next to them and we stood in front of the alpha, Luna and elder. The elder hands the alpha a golden goblet.

“With this goblet you will be a part of the pack.” alpha Jason holds up the goblet for everyone to see. The elder takes out a gold knife and cuts the alpha and Lunas'hands and puts their blood in the goblet.

“Please put your hand in, Joan,” elder Edith said. My mom gives her her hand and the elder cuts her hand and puts her blood in the goblet.

“Please repeat after me.” alpha Jason says.

“ I name will serve this pack to the best of my ability and I name is now part of the Blue Moon pack. Alpha Jason Bardalph is my alpha.” alpha Jason said.

“I Joan Madmarsho will serve this pack to the best of my ability and, i Joan Madmarsho is now part of the blue moon pack and Jason Bardalph is my alpha.”

“Now, Joan, please drink the goblet,” elder Edith said. Mom drank some of the blood in the goblet and fell to her knees and bowed to alpha Jason, Luna kail, and elder Edith. Then my mom got up and went back into the crowd.

“Please, Samuel, do the same as your wife,” alpha Jason said. The elder cut his hand and put his blood in the goblet.

“I Samuael madmarsho will serve this pack to the best of my ability and I Samuael madmarsho are now part of the blue moon pack and alpha Jason Bardalph is my alpha.” dad took the goblet from the elder and drank it and fell to his knees and bowed and dad got up and went back to the crowd.

“Please, Luna summerstar, your hand.” I give my hand to the elder and wince as she slices my hand and puts my blood in the goblet.

“I Summerstar madmarsho will serve this pack to the best of my ability and I Sammerstar madmarsho is now part of the blue moon pack and alpha Jason Bardalph is my alpha.” I took the goblet out of the elders' hands and drank it. I fell to my knees because there was what felt like me connecting to the whole pack. And I bowed.

“Welcome to the pack summerstar.” I got a mind link for alpha Jason. I got up and went back to standing on the side of the stage.

“Please, everybody, welcome our new pack members Summerstar, Joan, and Samuael madmarsho!” alpha bellowed into the crowd. everybody howled and cheered for us. Mom, dad, and I were ushered into the pack to change into the robes they had.

“The Madmarsho family will be shifting for the first time together. We will be witnesses of it.” alpha said. We walked back out onto the stage.

“Are you all going to shift at the same time or one at a time?” alpha asks us.

“I will go first, then Joan and summer last,” dad said. He walked to the front and you could hear all his bones cracking and shifting and hear him go from screaming to a painful howling. Dad was a handsome dark brown wolf but had a white spot on his forehead like a full moon. Once he was fully transformed, he howled at the moon. Then my mom went up there and dad was nuzzling her to encourage her. It was fine and her bones started to c***k as well and shift as well and you could hear her scream turn to a painful howling. Mom was a beautiful light brown wolf with a half-moon on her forehead. Then I walked to the front of the stage.

“You can do it sugar plum!” dad mind linked me. It was kind of weird having their voices in my head.

“Come on baby girl.” mom mind linked me. Mom and dad started to nuzzle me and then a big black wolf came and started to do the same. I could feel like static shock of where he touched me. What is that?

“Come on, Star, just listen to your wolf and she will guide you. Jacob wants to see and meet Selene.” Josh mind links me.

“Just concentrate on me and do as I say and our mate Jacob is to die for! I want him.”

“Selene, what do I do? Please pay attention and help me! Then you can meet Jacob.”

“Oh yes sorry I got distracted by how hot he is. I need you to push yourself in the back of your mind and let me take over and I will push myself in the front of your head.” I started to concentrate on putting myself in the back of my mind and I felt myself start to shift and my bones cracking and I went from being on 2 legs to 4 and while this was happening, I was screaming in pain once I was all the way shifted, I howled. I see everything a lot better in this way. I look at my mom, dad and josh. They all come back to me and start nuzzling me while I do the same and I lick josh’s mouth.

“Good job sugar plum. My goddess, you are beautiful!” dad mind links me.

“What do I look like?” I mind link excitedly while Selene was jumping up and down.

“Just like your normal hair color and eyes, other than it's not green, it's red. You are half black with a red eye and half white with a blue eye.” dad mind links.

“Now that the new pack members have shifted, let's join them and go for a pack run.” alpha Jason says. Everybody around us starts to shift and the alpha and all of us go to the front and start running.

“Oh, how I missed the wind going through my fur! It is so nice! This is why I wanted to shift when I first came to you,” Selene says.

“This is a nice feeling and it is very relaxing. I didn’t think I would enjoy running this much.” I started to run a little faster to catch up to the alpha. I was a little behind. We made it back to the pack house and we all shifted back and someone handed me my robe and I put it on and headed back to the room we changed into and went back into the garden.

“Now that we are all back, please enjoy the food.” alpha said. We started to eat and have fun. I have noticed since I got my wolf, I have been eating a lot more.

“ That's because you are a growing werewolf. You didn’t eat much because you were still a human.”

“Oh, I didn’t think I would eat more because I was a werewolf.”

“Yes, you will be burning a lot more calories because we will shift and run.” I noticed Josh walking by with a plate full of food and I waved my hand for him to sit next to me.

“How was your first run?”

“It was fun. I didn’t think I would like to run as much as I did as Selene.”

“She was hot. I didn’t think you could get any hotter. She was big, so I think you are the same size as me. Your mom and dad were a lot smaller than you and they are normal werewolf size. What happened to your hair?”

“What do you mean?”

“Your hair is black and white.”

“How did my hair go back to its normal color? I just dyed it a few days ago.”

“I love your hair color. This is natural?”

“Sadly, yes. I started dying it and wearing contacts after people started to make fun of me.”

“I love it and keep it. I want to have you just the way you are.”

“Thank you josh.” with that he kissed my head. Where he touched me, it was like a person was getting zapped, but it wasn’t painful.
