It’s Sunday afternoon and Lia and I just got home. I’ve just fetched her from Tyler’s parents’ house. She wanted to have Sunday lunch with them today, like she always used to do before we met. I didn’t join her though. I wanted to give her some space and let her do her. Plus, I’m not that familiar with the family. They seem like nice people and all, but I’d rather they just remain her people.
I took the time to go to Matt’s, and I stopped by Kyle’s on my way to fetch her. Kyle told me he and Gabby are expecting and I’m very happy for my best friend, for both of them. He has always been clear about wanting a family, and I’m glad things are working out for him. I shared the news with Lia, and she’s just as happy as I am for them.
