When Mia was in third grade, she got into trouble at school. She got into a fight with a classmate, pushed him to the ground, and scraped his knee open. The teacher called Audrey, but she was out on a mission and couldn't make it in time, so she had to ask her mother to pick Mia up instead. When they got home that night, Mia hid in her room and refused to come out. By the time Audrey finished her work, it was already past ten o'clock. She pushed open her daughter's bedroom door and saw Mia lying on the bed crying. When she heard the door, she quickly pulled the covers over her head.
