By late fall, Audrey had been tapped for a joint op with the Narcotics Division, to take down the head of a cross-border trafficking syndicate.
She led her team to infiltrate a chemical plant and successfully located the room where the head was hiding.
Just as they were about to bust in, all hell broke loose.
An explosion suddenly erupted from another room. Flames lit up the sky, and thick smoke billowed out.
It was a homemade bomb the drug dealers had planted, which triggered the detonation of stored chemicals.
The entire plant was instantly engulfed in an inferno.
