My heart skipped when I saw Alysia in tears… She dashed out of the training grounds immediately, more tears streaming down her cheeks.
“I have something urgent to take care of… Excuse me…” I muttered, giving her a halfhearted pat on her head.
“But I don't want you to leave… Stay with me…” She pouted and I averted my gaze, trying very hard to hide my disgust.
“It’s urgent, I really need to go…” I murmured, feigning sadness, I smiled wryly before I left the training ground, dashing after Alysia.
I reached the house and bolted to her room, I froze in my steps when I heard Amanda’s voice.
“You don’t need to worry about Damon again, I have a friend who was also rejected by his mate… He’s extremely handsome and nice. He’s someone you’d like a lot…” Amanda’s voice slithe
