ALYSIA
I woke up to an empty bed which was strange. I expected to wake up beside Damon. I rolled to his side of the bed to feel the sheets and it was cold which suggested that he had been up for a while.
I sat up with a yawn with my hands extending in a much needed satisfying stretch. The covers pooled around my waist and I basked in the content I felt.
I could smell Damon around the room and it made me feel at ease despite him not being here with me.
“I wonder where he went to? He should have woken me up” I mumbled with a pout.
I dragged myself out of bed with a tired sigh, grabbed a robe and made my way to the bathroom to take a quick shower.
As I took the shower, I couldn’t help but worry. Where did he go? Did something happen?
