When Varian entered the house, he had no idea what he would find. He didn't expect to find anything. It was dark inside; he had to feel around until he came across a candle and a box of matches.
He carefully lit the candle and then picked it up. He remained where he was and looked around. What he saw consisted of a little round wooden table, two little wooden chairs to match the table, an old rug, and a big bookshelf.
He walked over to the table and shined the candle's light down on it. He found lots of documents and began to shuffle through them all, but none of them plagued his interest. All of them were about magic spells. While magic does exist in the world, people are seldom born with the ability to utilize it, so people just write magic off as a myth.
