Dr. Chen pulled the second silver blade from Elara's side and I watched more blood pour out, dark and wrong. Too much blood. She'd been unconscious for six minutes and I was losing my mind.
"Why isn't she healing?" I gripped the edge of the medical table hard enough to c***k wood. "She's a True Alpha. She should be healing."
