I made it three steps away from the Luna suite before Melissa materialized in the hallway, and the look on her face promised violence.
"You gave her my rooms." Not a question. An accusation dripping with venom. "You put that omega and her brats in the Luna suite. My suite."
"It was never your suite." I kept walking, forcing her to follow. "We never completed the mate bond. You were Luna in title only. And now you're not even that. So whatever belongings you have in there, you've got one hour to collect them before I have them thrown out."
"You can't do this!" She grabbed my arm and I shook her off without slowing. "Kai, please. I know I made mistakes. I know working with the Collector was wrong. But I was trying to help! Trying to make you see that she was dangerous!"
