When we got home, I turned on the lights, and we sat side by side on the couch. There wasn't a television in the house so I got us entertained using my laptop.
She told me she wanted to watch Wednesday and I couldn't object. Everything then was about her. But mid way into the series, she stopped the movie and turned to me, her legs resting comfortably on my laps.
"There's something I almost forgot."
"And what is that?"
"We never got to complete our discussion back at the restaurant. That fan of yours took the remainder of our time there."
"I don't think he did that on purpose, love. And we could have stayed some more, so it doesn't matter."
"All right, then. But can you please continue?"
