I was looking for a chance to tell Liora it wasn't safe for her to stay with me in Japan any longer. After Michelle had gleefully pointed a gun in my face last night, I wondered what she would do to Liora just to make me give in to her demands.
"What?" she looked at me as if I had suddenly started speaking some strange language she didn't understand.
"Look, maybe asking you to come with me to Japan was a mistake," I said.
"A mistake?" she repeated.
"Not in the way you see it, Liora. Your company here has been vital."
"I highly doubt that," she snapped. I knew it would get her angry but it was a necessary evil I had to welcome. "You brought me here to just wet your appetite, didn't you? I'm a cheap f**k and you don't have to pay other whores to swallow your c*m, right?"
