Sydney stepped out of the car, her eyes widening as she took in the sleek, modern house. Her brother, Samuel, chuckled as he helped her with her bags. "Welcome to your new home, sis!"
As they entered the house, Sydney's gaze darted around the room, taking in the stunning artwork and photographs that adorned the walls. She felt a sense of awe wash over her.
Just as she was about to comment on the decor, her eyes landed on a figure lounging on the couch. Alexander Graham, with messy blonde hair and chiseled features, his piercing blue eyes, gazed at her with a cold, detached expression.
Sydney's heart skipped a beat as their eyes met. But before she could even process the encounter, Alexander's gaze pulled away, and he nonchalantly changed the TV channel, continuing to sip on his beer.
"Hey, Xander," Samuel called out, "meet my little sis, Sydney...ummmh...Sydney this is Alexander Graham, my roommate....sorry I left that detail out..."
Alexander's eyes flickered towards Sydney, his expression unreadable, nodding his head and turning his attention right back to the tv.
"Well.....this came as a surprise, first Samuel doesn't tell me about a third wheel....then the third wheel is actually very unwelcoming.....maybe that's why he didn't tell me, but he should have at least told me to dress nice" Sydney thought to herself.
