Here's the revised version: Sydney woke up to the savory aroma of breakfast, courtesy of her brother Samuel. As she entered the kitchen, she noticed Samuel expertly flipping pancakes, his dark hair messy from sleep, and his bright blue eyes sparkling with a warm smile. The kitchen was warm and cozy, filled with the morning sunlight streaming through the windows, casting a golden glow over the room. "Morning, Syd!" Samuel chimed, his voice warm and inviting. "Big day today! First day of law school." Sydney smiled, feeling a mix of excitement and nerves. She rubbed the sleep from her eyes, her messy, loose bun bobbing with the motion. As she scanned the kitchen, she noticed that Xander was nowhere to be found. "Where's Xander?" she asked Samuel, curiosity getting the better of her. Samuel chuckled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "Xander's rarely home, especially in the mornings. He leaves early for work. Don't worry, you'll get used to his schedule." Sydney nodded, taking a seat at the table. Samuel handed her a plate piled high with fluffy pancakes, scrambled eggs, and crispy bacon. The aroma wafting from the plate was heavenly, and Sydney's stomach growled in anticipation. "Eat up, Syd! We're running late," Samuel reminded her, his eyes twinkling with amusement. As they finished breakfast, Samuel cracked a joke, making Sydney laugh. "Hey, kid, you're going to make me late on my first day!" she teased, playfully rolling her eyes. Samuel grinned, his eyes sparkling with mirth. "Hey, someone's got to make sure you're fed and on time." Sydney smiled, feeling grateful for her brother's support. She got up from the table, grabbed her backpack, and headed out the door with Samuel. As they drove to the university, Sydney felt a mix of emotions: excitement, nerves, and a hint of uncertainty. What would this new chapter of her life bring? She gazed out the window, watching as the city awakened from its slumber. When they arrived at the university, Samuel dropped her off, and they shared a lighthearted moment. "Okay, Syd, you're on your own now," Samuel said with a grin. "But don't worry, I'll be here to pick you up later." Sydney smiled, feeling a sense of reassurance. "Thanks, kid. I'll be fine." As Samuel drove away, Sydney took a deep breath, shouldering her backpack. She was ready to take on this new chapter of her life. She wore her hair in a messy, loose bun, a pair of faded blue jeans, a crisp white tank top, and a pair of scuffed sneakers. She walked into the lecture hall, her eyes scanning the room for an empty seat. She spotted one in the front row and made her way towards it, her sneakers squeaking softly on the polished floor. As she sat down, she took out her laptop, preparing for her first lecture. Just as she was getting settled, a charming Italian boy approached her, asking if the empty seat next to her was taken. Sydney's heart skipped a beat as she looked up at him, feeling a little caught off guard by his warm smile...
