THIS WAS INSANE.
In fact, insane was an understatement. She was about to pimp herself off to the same person she wanted to get her revenge against for killing her parents.
This was just ridiculous.
Lana stood outside Stefano’s bedroom, her hand trembling as she placed it on the doorknob. The hallway was dark and silent.
Her breath caught in her throat as she looked down at herself, at the red silk lingerie that clung to her body like a second skin. Bianca had given it to her and because they weren’t the same size, it was very tight.
Her boobs were spilling out, and she felt very uncomfortable. The fabric felt way too revealing. It was basically transparent.
Apparently, her maid outfit would not do to seduce the mafia heir. Go figure.
Bianca had literally shoved her here, pushing her by her shoulders as she kept saying, “Just go. He came back a bit drunk. He won’t suspect a single thing.”
But Lana knew this wasn’t something she could just “go” into. Her entire body was screaming at her to run away. Yet here she was, her heart pounding like crazy. She had to do this. Her entire mission depended on it.
She was going to literally sleep with the enemy. A man she hated with such a passion.
It was just crazy that the price she had to pay for revenge was to give up her virginity. But she had promised herself that these people would pay for killing her parents, so she had no choice but to do this.
She took a very deep sigh and turned the doorknob slowly.
The room was very dark. The only bit of light in there was the faint glow coming from the bathroom door, which was slightly open. Stefano’s jacket was tossed across a chair and his shirt lay crumpled on the floor. He was already in bed, totally naked, lying face up.
Lana quickly shut her eyes. She couldn’t handle this.
No. No. No.
But even as she tried to will herself out of doing this, she couldn’t help the thrilling chill that went through her body at the sight of his. What was this?
She managed to get her eyes back open and stared at him once again. Stared at his c**k. He wasn’t hard, but he looked so big already. She gulped. How was that going to fit inside her?
No freaking way.
She couldn’t do this. She started backing away to escape when he suddenly stirred.
“Who the f**k is that?” His voice was low, gravelly, full of sleep.
She jumped at the sound of his voice, and her heart dropped. Oh s**t. There was no going back now.
Lana hesitated in the doorway, her voice stuck in her throat. “It’s me,” she managed to whisper. She couldn’t even think. What could she say? She had no idea how Bianca spoke to him. Was there a term of endearment they used for each other?
“It’s me, Bianca.”
She just hoped that Stefano wasn’t alert enough to see this deceit.
He turned his head slowly. She wondered if he could see her clearly.
“Bianca?” he drawled. “What are you doing here?” A faint frown came to his forehead.
She stepped forward cautiously, trying to control her heavy breathing. She couldn’t show how nervous she was now. “I uhm… I missed you.” The lie nearly made her choke.
His eyes narrowed. “So you thought to sneak into my room? You know I don’t like to be disturbed once I’m in here.”
Lana said nothing, just kept walking forward until she reached the edge of the bed. She had no idea where her courage was coming from, but what the hell.
He propped his head up on the headboard while assessing her. “Something’s different about you.”
Lana’s stomach dropped.
Was this the moment she would be exposed for the impostor she was?
Her eyes darted to the open bathroom door. Maybe she should close it and plunge them into total darkness? This would go way better if he couldn’t see at all.
She forced a smile, then sat by the side of the bed quickly before she could change her mind. Then she let her fingers trail lightly up his chest. She had no idea what she was even doing, and she was trying her hardest not to look at his d**k. “I just… wanted to surprise you.” Her voice was so nervous. Her hand also trembled.
His hand caught hers. “You’re shaking.” He c****d his head. “Why?”
Her heart stopped. She needed to come up with something fast. “It’s been a… a… a while.” She stuttered. “I just… want to make you feel good.”
He finally gave a small smile. “Yeah? Why now?” he said, his voice becoming darker and rougher.
“Why not?” Lana replied nervously. She climbed into the bed slowly, despite the way her heart pounded against her chest. Stefano sat up fully now. She could see his dark eyes glinting in the low light as he watched her.
She thought it was crazy that he still hadn’t noticed that she wasn’t Bianca. How long before he realized that?
His hand brushed her waist, and he paused. “You feel… different.”
Lana froze up. The jig was up. This was it.
While holding her breath, she managed to ask, “In a good way?”
He grunted. “Better.”
Before she could blink, his hands were on her waist, dragging her onto his lap. She let out a gasp as she was surprised by his strength and by the sudden contact between her skin and his.
Her thighs straddled his hips, and she was very aware of his growing erection that was pressing up against her.
“I’m confused, but I like this,” he murmured, lips brushing her throat.
Lana’s heart pounded as his mouth moved to her collarbone. She felt dizzy, like she was watching herself from far away.
Every part of her body was alive with panic and desire.
