Avery's POV Getting back to my room I closed the door quietly. Marcus tried asking me how it went, but I didn't answer him. it was painfully clear how much Alexei didn't like me being here. But I've asked him to let go, so it's his fault neither of us are happy about this bond his friend gave us. I walked into the bathroom, I felt hot and wanted a shower. With this mild fever it was making me both hot and cold. So a warm bath I'm sure will do wonders. I turned the water to my desired temperature then stripped out of my clothing. I poured some bubbles into the bathtub and smiled a bit at the refreshing scent of the lavender scent that mixed with the faintest smell of vanilla. I wasn't sure who kept replacing my bottles with new ones but I was grateful. The lavender helped me sleep. No
