The rest of the day went on until early evening, however, Rosalie did not see Layla since that morning. In fact, she did not see anyone. She left stating that she needed time to think and that was she did. Layla let her go, of course, because now that Rosalie was becoming aware of her conflicting feelings she would need to think everything over before she would make a decision.
When she closed her door that morning, she pressed her back againt it and brought her hand up to touch her chest through the fabric of her top. Her heat was beating rapidly and would not stop, even as she was not near Layla. She had been caught and had no choice but to explain what happened with Dante to her. And now that she did, she needed to reassure herself.
