She went back to the room where Kiko, Layla and Yelena were, each of them expressing surprise when they saw her slowly walk into the room in a daze.
"What happened with you?" Layla asked as Rosalie sat down in a chair.
"One of the maids... died. She had a terrible fever," she explained and everyone grew silent. No one said word because they were both frightened and had lost their voices. Rosalie noticed that Kiko's hands were shaking just as they did when she had uncontrollable cravings.
