Episode 9

Adam got to his friends with a few minutes to spare before lunch break would end. He ended up not having anything at all durring that break as he had something to tell them. The both of them were a bit surprised that he was sharing what had went down between him and Camila, given how things like that happened regularly. None of them usually said a thing about being confessed to as it got tiring and boring, like imagine telling your friends who had asked you out almost every single day. It gets old and annoying real quick, hence they never talked about it, making their surprise to Adam wanting to talk about Camila make sense. Adam proceeded to tell them a summarised run through of what had went down. Not that the other parts were not as important or juicy but because they weren't there on his brain to begin with. Told them that he would not be able to go to prom with them as a trio anymore as Camila was now his new date. He explained that it might have been arranged by their parents even though he wasn't sure ,as his Dad had told (more like ordered) him to got to prom with Camila. Both his friends then understood why he had to tell them about why Camila wanted to talk to him. Victoria laughed her ass off when the whole story finally sunked into her head. To her it so funny and fictional, mostly because Adam had told it like it was a horror story or something scary like that, totally blowing it out of proportion. She knew that it wasn't that horrifying to him but he was just exaggerating it to show that it had pissed off. They had been friends long enough for her to understand his actions. Liam on the other hand was well, a bit less than himself. He was the type to tease his friends in situations like these. Like the time when Victoria found out that she had been promised to marry someone even before she was born (her grandpa's best friend's grandson, two years older than her). He did not let it slide and teased her about it for months. It got worse once he met the guy and found out that he and Victoria were on the same boat, like they weren't told anything about and only got to know a few weeks before they were to officially meet. Adam was empathetic towards them even though he also found it funny. He definitely wasn't going to put it against his own family to do something like that. This time around though Liam reacted very differently than he usually did. While Victoria was laughing her ass off, he just sat there staring at Adam with a face that usually belonged to Adam, blank and emotionless. That was his emotion mask whenever something caught him off guard or made him feel some strong emotions. He would normally be like that until he was finally ready to face whatever had pushed him to be like that in the first place. This time he had pulled it up because he was shocked in a bad way. Just like Adam, he was really looking forward to going to prom with him and Victoria (emphasis in him). Sure they were still going to see each other there, but not being his date left him feeling unpleasant.
