Forlorn for Eternity in the midst of Happy Endings

Chapter 2

MENESMAY'S POV

"Six more shots of tequila please" I ordered the bartender to get, only to gulp it all down within a blink of an eye.

The bartender gave me a look that pretty much lead him to think of me as some kind of a drinking machine and I can totally understand why...for a person who just drank 12 shots of tequila looking too sober...

After paying for my drinks, with a "woohoo!" I started dancing around in the club, trying to relax cause it's my damn holiday and I don't have to worry about breaking bones to win medals for once.

My quite sober self spotted some familiar faces in the distance, where the sound of music barely reached...I squinted my eyes to make sure whether what I saw was real or just my imagination and there I spotted those two having fun without me. 'Betrayers having fun without me?' I thought as I approached them with a devilish smirk.

I quietly went behind them and grabbed my cousin's shoulders all of a sudden, making her cuss out in shock, "Jesus Christ!" Amelia screamed.

I let out a hearty chuckle as I hugged her and she immediately pushed me away scrunching her nose in disgust, "How much did you even drink? You smell like a tequila factory" Amelia asked while Merenla mirrored her disgust by scrunching her nose too.

Despite their disgust...I put either of my arms around their shoulders and leaned my weight on both of them since I am 2-3 inches or something shorter, it felt a little difficult but I still held onto both of them.

Putting a little force and not letting them escape my grip, "Why are you both here?" I asked with every ounce of curiosity cause 'Amelia isn't a club person, why would she even come here..?' okay I might have a high alcohol tolerance but my brain is hazy right now to think.

Amelia rolled her eyes in annoyance as she said "Isn't it obvious? Merenla tricked me to come here saying you'd be with us too" and Merenla rolled her eyes as well, "I am not forcing you to be here but remember that our friendship is over...the minute you disobey me" she warned.

"Just date already!" I said, teasing them and Amelia sighed as she said, "Fine, Fine! Let's go get a few drinks."

I could hear Merenla cheering mentally as we approached the bartender again and a wonderful idea popped into my head. "GUYS! LET'S PLAY THE NEVER HAVE I EVER GAME WITH 30 SHOTS TEQUILA AND BRANDY MIXED SHOTS" I yelled excitedly only to be met with an annoyed soulmate duo.

"Jeez" Amelia said, covering her left ear and Merenla did the same thing with her right ear...after letting out yet another chuckle, I took off my arms from their shoulders and told the bartender "Bring 40 shots of tequila and brandy mixed together" I pointed towards our table and took out my black card to pay. The soulmate duo scowled at me when I was done paying.

"WE DIDN'T AGREE TO THIS!" Amelia said but I ignored her, I sat on the table that I gestured towards and they followed me as well.

Soon after the bartender brought our shots, In pure ecstasy i balled my fists and threw my arms in the air screaming, "LET THE GAMES BEGIN!" to be greeted by a flinching Merenla and Amelia with an unamused expression.

END OF POV

THIRD PERSON'S POV

Amelia had a challenged look on her face, she is the kind of woman that never backs up from a challenge "The person with the lowest points has to do what the person with the highest points say" she said in a domineering tone.

Merenla smiled on the inside, finally kinda relieved that Amelia was letting loose for once in the past three months...

Merenla and Menesmay nodded at Amelia but both of them having the same thought and their telepathy really was great as they looked at eachother, then at Amelia and smirked.

On the other hand competitive Amelia, who dug her own grave was slightly regretting her decision but she slid it off and put on a calm expression.

And they started the game, first was Menesmay's aka May's turn "Never have I ever, got drunk on a first date" she said thoughtfully as it was time for just Amelia to drink and she gulped it down in a heartbeat, sending a glare at May.

It was Amelia's turn as she said "Never have I ever, not kissed on a first date"... it was jaw dropped Merenla's and annoyed May's turn to drink.

The sinister partners of Amelia drank up their shots and it was Merenla's turn now, "Never have I ever, dragged any of my ex boyfriends out of a room, while palming their no zone area through their jeans" she said, smiling wickedly and Amelia groaned in annoyance, a little bit flushed as she gulped down another shot.

It was May's turn now "Never have I ever, ripped my shirt while I was wearing it" and again Amelia had to drink.

She sent a glare to her company of two evil brats as she gulped the shot down and they continued the game...after half an hour or so, the game ended and the number of shots they had were...

Amelia - 21 shots

Menesmay - 5 shots

Merenla - 4 shots

Needless to say Amelia was fully drunk and it was time for the dare or task or whatever you may want to call it...

Amelia tried to speak in her drunken language, "Uki..nuv whattss iss dirs dfare?" May chuckled to herself as Merenla was recording them. "Merenla is recording this for evidence...." May said deep in thought and then an idea popped inside her head "You have to sing a cover to Adele's 'Someone like you' and upload it, after you are sober tomorrow" she said with a wicked smile.

Amelia wasn't in her right mind as she said "fine" and then she passed out like light.

May and Merenla sighed as they carried her back to her car...

AUTHOR'S POV

"ARE YOU f*****g KIDDING ME??MENESMAY VALERON!!" Amelia yelled with a throbbing headache...'there's no f*****g way that I would do that!' she thought.

They were currently in Amelia's bedroom, where May had soundly slept next to her, after all the fun they had last night... people would stay stuff questioning about their relationship but she was just Amelia's cousin and her bestest friend.

Moving on, May just smirked at her as she said in a calm and mocking voice, "It was a deal Amy! you have to do it now~".

The odds were clearly at Amelia's end, she is a really horrible singer or...is that what she thinks?

After glaring a hole into Menesmay's mocking smiley face, she sighed out loud and gritted "fine" in a defeated tone which led to Menesmay squealing "YAAY!" Like a child, causing Amelia to wince.

With a throbbing headache and with the stupid dare thing eating up her head alive, she decided to call Valeron corp for her annoying assistant "Hello? Amelia speaking" she said, trying to rub her throbbing head with her other hand.

Menesmay saw how she was struggling so she sat next to Amelia and started massaging her head, Amelia smiled at May and mumbled a 'thankyou' to her.

Laura aka the assistant of Amelia, replied in a flirtatious tone, "Yes, ma'am, what can I do for you?"

Amelia mentally cussed inside her head as she thought, 'Oh yeah I forgot she's into women...'what does she even see in me though? remind me why I haven't fired her yet?'

Lost in her thoughts alone, she didn't realise that it had been a minute since she hadn't said anything but Laura reminded her as she said, "Ma'am...are you even there?" Menesmay quietly snickered as she snatched the phone from Amelia in a swift motion not giving her enough time to retaliate.

Amelia wanted to run after and snatch her phone back but she was smart enough to just sit and try to massage her throbbing head instead all the while mentally sighing at May.

Menesmay let out a hearty chuckle, not intentionally but it wasn't unheard by Laura on the other side as she mentally blushed 'that is such a cute laugh' she thought.

Menesmay cleared her throat as she stood by the open space between the locked balcony door and the railings.

She sat down on the beautiful round swing that Amelia adores as she spoke, " Your Boss woman is sick today...she had too much to drink last night."

Laura's heart skipped a beat, when she heard the beautiful not so husky but not so feminine voice and she swore that it's the most beautiful voice that she has ever heard...but she was then left with confusion as she voiced out her thoughts "And who are you? I thought...uhm...ma'am was straight?"

Menesmay's heart skipped a beat as well 'I am pretty sure that I am straight?' she thought.

Laura cleared her throat and asked again, "Who are you? and why are you with Ma'am?" May sensed the little jealousy in her tone as she replied to a question with a question "Oh my god! You have a crush on her don't you?!"

Laura's heart skipped another beat and she mentally scolded herself 'Shut up stupid heart! my goal is only Amelia ma'am!'

After mentally calming herself down, Laura faked a chuckle as she replied, "That's pretty obvious but ma'am is pretty much straight, but that aside you still didn't tell me-" and Laura got cut off with Menesmay speaking with a calm tone "I am Menesmay, Menesmay Valeron."

Laura smiled to herself on the other side knowing that it's the hot MMA champion cousin of Amelia, she got to know her by listening to Jungkook and Taeyhung talk about her all the time.

After just hearing her voice, she was intrigued to meet her "Oh apologies for being so informal earlier! I had no idea it was you... I'm a big fan of yours...is it possible to get your number?"

May chuckled and said "yeah sure... I'll text you my details later."

Laura smiled to herself as she spoke, "Many thanks for the favour M-may Ma'am." To which May replied with a "You're welcome" before Laura hung up on her.

One had an impassive look with a red face while the other had a flushed face with a smile spreading all over it.

On one side Amelia was smirking next to the open door of the balcony cause it's her damn mansion and she has triple sets of keys to places needed because her clumsy ass keeps losing them but she thought that it wasn't right to tease...so she locked the balcony door without May's knowledge and pretended to keep massaging her forehead when she entered her room.

On the other side, Jungkook and Taehyung exchanged amused expressions to eachother as they thought it wasn't appropriate of them to intervene but once they stepped foot into their shared cabin they couldn't help but blurt, "I hope this turns out good for May and Laura! Friendship or love? but whatever it is...I hope they are happy in the end" Taehyung said to Jungkook to which the latter nodded and smiled.

Jungkook literally smiled so brightly with his teeth out in admiration and with the love that he was feeling for his baby as he said "Yeah...they both have been alone for too long..."

While everyone was having a happy time with newly found relationships and love, Justin was having possibly the worst time of his life or maybe his girlfriend was having it even more worst...

END OF POV

JUSTIN'S POV

I just can't believe it, my date with Addy was the worst she is so upset right now that I, myself don't know what to do.

I feel so guilty and helpless. Even though Amelia and I have broke up but this annoying public can't stop favouring her!

Flashback~

Me and Addy were finally having our first date together...

Laughing and feeding each other "Addy, your cooking has quite improved huh?" I teased her just to see her whole face turn pink as she blushed because we both know that Addy knows nothing about cooking and it's her cook that cooked all of this.

I wish our moment lasted longer but it was crumpled all over...

"Look at that slutty model! She really is the reason why Jimin left such an amazing woman like Amelia!" some random person commented.

Addy looked really upset and I was ready to throw hands but she held my hand and said "It's okay love, just ignore her."

"Omg! Is that the model Addison Meckinze? So the rumours are true! She really is the reason for Amelia's heartbreak!" another person shouted loudly.

In that moment I had lost it but respecting Addy's words...I went towards my car while practically dragging her out of the scene from all those wannabe top TV reporters.

But the last thing we heard before I slammed the door shut was, "A woman who tries to break into other happy relationships will never get to be truly happy!!" which made Addy burst into tears...

End of flashback~

I threw a vase in utter frustration as I kept thinking about those reporters who bombarded me and Addison with such hate comments.

Just why can't I move on with Addy in peace now?

How did those reporters even get to our secluded date spot?

Did someone send them purposely?

Or

Someone paid them to follow us and ruin our happy moment?
