Chapter 2:Silky Chains

The first morning in Arielle’s mansion did not begin with sunlight. It began with rules. Leah woke to the sound of curtains snapping open, light flooding her face. She sat up, dazed, only to find Arielle already standing by the window, flawless in a fitted dress that hugged her body like a second skin. She looked as if she had never known fatigue, while Leah still felt the ache of sleeping on marble floors and park benches. “You slept well,” Arielle observed, her tone flat but edged with satisfaction. “Better than on the streets, hm, my little bunny?” Leah nodded quickly, clutching the silk blanket to her chest. “Good.” Arielle turned, her heels clicking against the floor as she crossed the room. She stopped beside the bed and bent low, her lips brushing Leah’s ear. “You’re mine now. And mine means order. Routine. Obedience.” Leah’s breath hitched. Arielle smelled of roses and smoke, intoxicating and heavy. “You will rise when I say, eat when I say, breathe easier only when I allow it. My gal doesn’t wander, doesn’t question, doesn’t disappear.” A finger slid beneath Leah’s chin, tilting her head up until she was forced to meet Arielle’s gaze. “Understood?” Leah swallowed. “Y-yes.” “Yes… what?” Arielle’s voice sharpened like a blade. “Yes, Arielle.” A smirk tugged at Arielle’s crimson lips. “No. Try again, sweetpie.” Leah’s chest tightened. “…Yes, my Arielle.” “Mm.” Arielle hummed in approval, kissing Leah’s cheek with deliberate slowness. “That’s better. My obedient little bunny.” The rest of the morning unfolded like a test. Leah was ushered into a wardrobe room the size of an apartment. Dozens of dresses hung like waiting phantoms.......lace, silk, velvet. Shoes lined the shelves, gleaming under the soft glow of crystal lamps. “All yours,” Arielle said, her hand heavy on Leah’s shoulder. “You will wear only what I choose for you. No rags. No filth. You’re mine, and I won’t have my little bunny looking like she belongs to the gutter.” Leah’s eyes widened at the sheer luxury. “But… these look so expensive...... A sharp pinch to her chin silenced her. Arielle’s gaze hardened, dangerous. “You will not question me. Do I look like a woman who bargains with strays?” “N-no,” Leah stammered. “Exactly.” Arielle released her and began thumbing through the dresses. Finally, she pulled out a pale blush gown that shimmered faintly in the light. “This one. Soft. Innocent. Like the little gal you are.” Leah accepted it with trembling hands. The fabric was cool, delicate, alive under her fingers. “Go on,” Arielle instructed, leaning against the wall, arms folded. “Change.” Leah froze. “H-here?” “Yes. Right in front of me. What’s mine doesn’t hide.” Arielle’s tone was honey laced with poison. “Or do you still think you have privacy, Leah?" That was the first time Arielle had used her name to address her and she knew she had to obey. Heat rushed to Leah’s cheeks. Her hands shook as she turned her back, slowly peeling away the ragged shirt she had worn for weeks. She felt Arielle’s eyes burn into her bare shoulders, her spine, her ribs. “Fragile,” Arielle murmured, voice thick with something dangerous. “So thin, so delicate. My gal needs feeding. Rest. Care. But above all… she needs her mistress’s claim.” Leah nearly dropped the dress in her haste to cover herself. “Beautiful,” Arielle whispered once Leah was fully clothed. She approached and smoothed the gown against Leah’s waist, her touch lingering, possessive. “Now you look like mine.Clean.Tempting.Peefect." Breakfast was no different. Leah sat before a spread of fruits, breads, and eggs, more food than she had seen in months. Her stomach growled audibly. She reached for a piece of bread.....only to have Arielle’s hand dart out and grasp her wrist. “Wait,” Arielle said firmly. Leah’s eyes flickered up in confusion. “You eat when I say.” Arielle lifted the bread herself and held it near Leah’s lips. “Open.” Leah hesitated, then parted her mouth. Arielle fed her slowly, deliberately, watching every movement as though she owned the very act of Leah’s chewing. “Good gal.” Arielle stroked her cheek with the back of her fingers. “Doesn’t it taste better when it’s given by me?” Leah didn’t answer. She couldn’t. The humiliation and strange comfort tangled in her chest until she thought she might choke on both. She questioned what she had gotten herself to by accepting Arielle's help. By afternoon, the rules had tightened like a noose. Leah wasn’t allowed to step outside the house without permission. Her phone.....what little was left of it,was taken and replaced with a sleek new one, preloaded with Arielle’s number as the only contact. Cameras lined the halls. Arielle explained each one with an almost lazy smile. “So I can see my little bunny wherever she goes.” Leah’s voice was barely a whisper. “Isn’t that… a bit much?” Arielle’s eyes darkened. She stepped closer, forcing Leah back against the wall. “Much? Sweetpie, you were sleeping in filth a week ago. Men walked past you without care. Danger lurked in every shadow. And now… now you have me. My roof. My food. My warmth. My name.” Her lips brushed Leah’s ear. “You’ll never call it too much. You’ll call it devotion. Because that’s what it is.” Leah’s knees weakened. “I… I understand.” “Say it.” Arielle’s hand pressed against her chest, just over her racing heart. “I… I belong to you, Arielle.” Arielle smiled slowly, triumphantly. “That’s my gal.” She kissed Leah’s forehead again, lingering and without warning crashed her lips, sucked on them like she was starving, shoving her tongue deeper into Leah's mouth, twirling it while holding her in place to keep her from falling. Leah's legs were jelly from all the stimulation.Arielle was not letting go,she was deep in the moment even slightly biting her lower lip as a reminder that now she had an owner. "Such sweet lips, where have you been hiding all this time? You taste like caramel and mints ,what's the secret little bunny, huh?Be good and you will be provided with everything you need.I will see to it that you never lack for anything, okay?" And though Leah nodded, some part of her wondered how long she could breathe inside a cage built of silk and kisses.
