THE HEARTBREAK I jerked back to life when I heard my phone ring, I checked the caller and I hastily picked. Sir, Mr Richmond is safe he said at the other end. I breathe a sigh of relief and signalled to my driver to help me to the car. We arrived at the mansion and I immediately rushed in to see my favourite grandson, is he fine I asked the doctor. Yes sir, he was sedated so the drugs is making him sleep more than normal but he will be fine. I have administered some infusions, he should wake up soon he replied and left shortly after. I sat there and thought about the whole thing that has happened today and weep bitterly. Where have I gone wrong in raising this kids. How can Raymond do this to his brother. I was busy wiping off my tears when I noticed Richmond moved on the bed trying to adjust himself properly. He started whimpering in his sleep and I wheeled myself closer to him and gently touched him. Hey son, grandpa is here I said and he cooed. He opened his eyes slowly trying to adjust to the rays of light in the room. I waited for him to get himself used to his environment and was contemplating on how to break the news to him. Grandpa, you're here he finally said and my heart break into a thousand pieces. Yes son, I'm here I replied. Ouch, my head he grab his head and the maid moved closer to the bed and picked some pills the doctor dropped, gave him and a glass of water. He quickly gulp it down and I gestured for him to relax. How long have I been out he asked facing the maid. Three days sir, she replied shakily. What! He screamed. Oh my goodness, today is my wedding he screamed, trying to remove the drip fixed on his hand. I quickly pinned him down, it's fine son wait, we have to talk I said unable to hold my tears. He calmed down and touched my face, Grandpa is everything okay he asked sincerely..... I drove into the compound and opened the door. I walked to the other side, opened the door and grab my supposed car throwing her out of the car landing on the floor with a loud thud. She struggled to get up but she wasn't fast enough. I started walking closer to her, she was terrified and started moving backward as I approached her. I got hold of her and drag her by her hair towards the mansion thereby earning a loud cry that never stopped till I get in and released her hair. My scalp is on fire, my head is banging, my whole body is aching. How can someone be so heartless I thought and cried. The maids in the house all came out running immediately they heard his voice. Grandpa is here, his right hand man informed him. He's with Sir Richmond he concluded. He smirked and grab my long hair again pushing me towards the stairs and I cried hard. We walked for a long time and finally get to a door. He pushed it hard with a full force and throw me in, I landed hard on my butt. I couldn't endure the pains on my butt and my head and I cried bitterly. I spring up from the bed when I see the figure on the floor, she's a beautiful lady in a wedding dress, she look so tired, sad and dirty. I removed the drip and walk towards the lady. I lift up her head from the floor and my eyes met with Rhea my bride. I quickly glanced at grandpa and I noticed he couldn't meet my gaze. I looked at Raymond and I noticed he's wearing a wedding suit too What is happening here I asked in a shaky voice. You shouldn't be too stupid not to understand that I'm married to your bride. Raymond said laughing like a maniac. I'm married to your bride, what does that mean? I lift up my head to look at the figure before me and I was dumbstruck. The Williams had a twin I thought. And I'm suppose to marry the one before me? Before I could even grasp the whole thing happening I heard the most gentle voice ever. Raymond you sedated me and get married to my bride? How cruel can you be? I looked at the devil I got married to and I feel like dying immediately. How can he be so wicked.
