“That was weird,” Greg said soon after dark on Saturday evening. “I think my stomach is still back at home.” He looked around. “They live in the middle of a corn field?” Nick had dropped them at the edge of one, where he knew they’d be well out of view of any road or farm house in the area. “Nope. It takes energy to teleport,” he replied. “I need a few minutes to recoup before the next hop.” “Good. Maybe my stomach will have caught up with us by then.” “Are you okay?
