Stephan (POV)
We walked out the back door and I stopped in my tracks. There were balloons and birthday banners everywhere. It looked like someone ran to a party store and bought all the birthday decorations they had. This was nothing like the plans Sasha had drawn up. She had roses, streamers and a lot of candles in her plans. Her party had an elegant dinner party feel to it. This had more of a kids' party feel. I looked around to see if I could find her. She was off to the side yelling at someone about not hanging anymore banners.
All her planning was for nothing. I know it was not what she had planned, but I still felt Ember would love it. You can tell the time and love that went into everything. Even if they only had a few hours to get it together.
