Ember (POV)
Victor and I walked out of the feeding center. I was feeling a little better. The ache in my heart and stomach was still there, but I knew that would not go away until Sasha could break whatever spell or enchantment Sabrina had on Xavier. My wolf was growing weak. All I could feel was her pain.
My mates and Sam, along with two trolls, were walking towards us. Stephan took off running towards me and threw his huge arms around me in a hug, lifting me off my feet and swinging me around. He acted like he had not seen me in months when, in reality, it had only been about a half hour. I giggled and embraced the sense of warmth that washed over me at his touch.
Stephan stood me back on the ground, then released me. Rex walked over to us. He jokingly pushed Stephan out of the way,
