Ryn's POV
She smiled sweetly knowing that she has just won the first of the many argument that are to come.
She had no appetite for food at the moment and he happened to be on the same page as her, so they just ordered a bottle of wine.
Both of them sat down quietly thinking if what to say to the other person. They had been enemies since they could remember and they had absolutely nothing in common.
Ryan knew that as the guy it was on him to likely start a conversation, he had to bring up something to talk about just anything no matter what it was.
" So did you know about the engagement before of after the news had it?" He asked in a causal manner.
She looked at him considering if she could answer him truthfully or not.
" After". She simply answered without saying anything else making it known to him that she was not ready to begin any conversation with him.
But still with the attitude Ryan still decided to try again.
" What do you like"? He asked her.
" I don't know that you would be this old fashioned, shouldn't you be doing or saying something new?". She said trying hard to frustrate him to silence. She had intended to tell everyone how boring it is to be with him when she gets home.
" See I don't like to be in this date with you, there are a whole lots of things I can do with this time am wasting here right now. We both know that we hate each other really much. So can you at least stop being so I reasonable and keep a small conversation going".? He asked slightly annoyed.
" Oh. So I am being unreasonable? She let me tell you I don't make conversation with people that i don't like. I don't like you and I definitely do not like the idea of getting married to you so don't even think of getting any funny marriage ideas in your head. I am just here right now for the sake of my parents". She said smiling sweetly.
" That's even the best, I can see that at least we have a common understanding here. Which is great, we don't like each other and we don't want to marry each other. That's the best thing you have ever done, so we can just skip all this save ourselves the stress and go our separate ways". He said standing up from his seat and she did the same.
Peace's POV
Peace looked down at her phone again, so it was true all along. Currently she was looking at some pictures in her phone. A picture of Ryn and Ryan sitting opposite each other at a restaurant.
The internet was on fire with the news of this date, it was like what everyone has been waiting for to see all this while. Everyone wanted to know if this two cat and rat would eat up themselves when they finally meet.
But to their surprise Ryn was smiling continuously like she was actually enjoying the date. Peace really hoped that the date doesn't go well.
Her heart twisted as she felt a little pain in her chest.
" God if you are really going to help me then please let it be today. The next Time Ryan goes on a date I want to be the one sitting next to him".
Just as she finished speaking her phone rang . It was her other boss at the place where she works that was calling.
" Peace, please can you come over to the shop? The other boys are all tied up with work and I need your help to help me deliver something to a customer right away".
" Okay ma'am, I will be on my way immediately".
" Aunty please I need to rush over to help my boss with some deliveries, I will be back immediately I am done". Peace told Mrs Miller.
" Alright dear, don't be late". With that she ugred her to go ahead as she continued to serve her customers.
Getting to the shop peace room the things she was to deliver without wasting much time .
After giving her the address as all she left for her direction and not long after she left she was knocked down by a car.
Ryn's POV
Getting into her car she thought to her self,
" That really went well". She was very sure that she had successed In pissing him off.. and she had made sure to always smile because she was sure that people were taking pictures of them.
" Ma'am where are we heading to now?". The driver asked cutting her thoughts.
" To my usual spot that I and the girls meets at. I need to see them".
Ryn at the club house.
" You can't go in, you can't get in without a membership card". The bouncer at the club house told the guys and thier girls that were currently standing at the gate.
Ryn could clearly hear them arguing as she approached, but to her that was none of her business because she thinks the poor should definitely know that it not places like this that they should be seen at .
Just as she was walking through the gate , one if the men at the gate was about to throw a punch at the bouncer but unfortunately for Ryn the pounch had landed on her head instead and she collapsed.
