chapter 6

*at the castle*

Mavens pov

Ren ,our personal assassin, was standing at the roof of the castle beside him was a witch.he said "your highness the princess is alive she didnt eat  and didnt drink the tea."i cloaked my dragon and myself so that we wouldnt be seen, the witches were already creating bloodshed at the castle grounds . killing as much reds as they could the more damage and reds dying the better. i asked "where is she ?"  ren pointed where she was and then i flew there.i was flying in front of her window when i saw her she was beautiful she had blonde hair , blue eyes and plump lips.she didnt know i was staring at her because i was cloaked .she was dressing up putting on a black loose top on and boots. i didnt want to kill her because she was so beautiful so i thought of an alternative . while she was preparing the witches were killing mercilessly .

Amara as the witch queens daughter was the strongest there. besides her mother her white magic was the strongest among all the witches .she is an only child and my cousin , her mother and my mother were sisters . when Avalin was outside i uncloaked and flew right in front of her . i connected with my dragon, telling her what to do .my dragon,Avan, opened her mouth not to attack but to absorb her fire magic thus making her stronger a trick my father told  me.our dragons has been kept a secret through the generations to the point that they thought they didnt exist, thought they were myths.which is what we wanted as they are our greatest weapon,Avalin was struggling trying to disconnect with Avan but i didnt allow.

Avalins greatest strength is also her weakness without her fire magic she wont stand a chance against us,her water magic is used for healing not attacks nor defense . everyone knows her fire magic is stronger than her water magic. that she inherited more of her mother's looks but more of her father's magic.her water magic is only used for healing as it is not strong enough for anything else not even a simple shield.when Avan stopped avalin fainted on the ground i jumped off of avan and walked towards her gathering her up in my arms. i was so distracted with her that i didnt realize someone shouting her name and another male shouting retreat . a younger boy that im guessing is his brother was pulling away the male shouting avalins name.it was night already when everything was in our control. i locked her up in a secure tower with only one window which had bars on it and a one way in and out and placed her on the bed.

After three weeks we finally took control over Notaria. those who were still at the castle and those that got caught trying to make a rebellion, a force that wants Avalin to be the one sitting on the throne , became slaves .the nobles that refused to bow to us and accept us as their rulers were beheaded or in hiding and Avalin just woke up after three weeks .the demon and witches are in the process of moving.we are going to unite Demoria, Notaria and Humaria as one kingdom with us as their rulers .the oldest son of the king of Humaria is the only survivor . father is headed here tonight with the prince ,i unlock the room and see Avalin looking out the window.i give the key to the guards and close the door behind me .Avalin turned around facing me we stared at each other for a while . i broke the silence and said "father wants to meet you tonight,were having dinner together so wear this."tossing the garments on the bed she had a look of disgust when she looked at it .

she said in an angry tone "i'm not wearing that."

i said" i command you-"

she shouted " no you command nothing i am the rightful queen of Notaria by birthright i will not answer to you and do your commands i am not your subject, nor your servant for you to-"

"your right you arent . youre a prisoner , an orphan, a queen without a crown ,a queen but in name only, you have no gold,no armies,no power you have nothing and you are nothing. your father failed to protect your land and people just like you like father like daughter you all have underestimated us none of you bothered to know our weakness nor our strength and just because of that you gave us an advantage because of that we had the element of surprise .the only reason your alive is because i decided to spare you."

"the reason why i have no gold ,men and power is because of you . you took everything and everyone from me.you made me an orphan a prisoner, stole my magic and crown. you are a horrible man -"i slapped her hard then fisted her hair pulling it making our eyes meet and face close .

"just wear it dont make me force you"

she said looking at it again " no its too revealing , it shows to much skin i want something else"

"well to bad you cant have what you want not anymore princess." i said mockingly which angered her even more . i can tell she isn't good at hiding her emotions . it is revealing her top is a corseted top only covering her breasts it had no sleeves and shows the stomach the bottom has slits on both legs revealing her legs especially when she walks .
