  Amira's POV   I woke up earlier than usual, the soft light filtering through the blinds making the whole room feel too quiet. Something in the air felt different today—charged, almost as if the universe was waiting for something. I tried to ignore it, but the feeling didn't go away.   I checked the clock. It was barely six in the morning, but I had already dressed in my sharpest suit, the one I reserved for special occasions, the one that always made me feel like I could take on anything. Maybe that was the point. Today was important. I had an interview. At Aiden's company.   I had no idea why I agreed to this. The logic was simple enough—get close, get information. But as I adjusted my jacket in the mirror, I couldn't shake the discomfort in my chest. Was I really prepared for this?
